Suki Granted Arrest Warrants Against Galaxy Music Boses (8/3/13)
ARREST ORDER GRANTED BY COURT AGAINST GALAXY MUSIC DIRECTORS News Release: Infi8 Dreams
Despite having won her court case against her former management company Galaxy Music Sdn. Bhd. in August last year, reality show winner Low Sook Yee, or more popularly known as Suki Low has yet to receive her promised sum of money amounting RM417,575.17. The winner of the first season of the reality TV show, One in A Million, was forced to apply to Court for an order to haul the directors of Galaxy Music Sdn. Bhd. namely Chan Tak Wai and Wong Yoke May to be examined after Galaxy's failure or refusal to pay and whether Galaxy had the means to do so. On the 6th February 2013, both directors Chan Tak Wai and Wong Yoke May, was supposed to have shown up at the Kuala Lumpur High Court to be examined in relation of Suki's judgment obtained in her civil suit against Galaxy. However, both Chan Tak Wai and Wong Yoke May failed to turn up at Court. Their solicitors informed Court that this is because they had to attend an emergency meeting in Singapore. The Court then fixed a new date for the examination to be conducted, which fell on the 8th of March 2013 at 9am. But once again, both Chan Tak Wai and Wong Yoke May did not show up at Court. In light of this continued disobedience, Suki was forced to move the Court for a warrant of arrest to be issued against them. The Court has now granted the order for their arrest and fixed the matter for mention on the 15th of March 2013.
