Bunkface Warner Distribution Agreement Signing Press Conference @ Warner Music Malaysia, PJ (14/8/12)BUNKFACE SIGNS DISTRO DEAL WITH WARNER FOR "BUNK NOT DEAD"Story & Photos: Dragon & AnastasiaBunkface exchanging documentation with Warner's chief Darren.Rising award winning independent punk rock stars Bunkface signed a distribution agreement with the local subsidiary of international record label Warner Music yesterday afternoon at Warner's office in Petaling Jaya, in a bid to increase the sales reach of their sophomore release "Bunk Not Dead". The agreement will allow Warner Music Malaysia to distribute the new 13 track bilingual effort through its digital distribution and retail channels nationwide. It will also allow Warner to release all tracks from "Bunk Not Dead" on iTunes as well. The conceptual album which took nearly two years to complete was officially revealed at a street listening party recently in SS15, Subang Jaya, contains five Malay language tracks, with the rest in English. "Panic", the first single from their latest release was recorded in Jakarta, Indonesia, and cost RM16,000 to produce. The rest of the tracks were recorded at top local recording studio Iseek Music in Kota Damansara, while the mixing was done by experienced senior sound engineer Mas Henk from Palu Studio, in Jakarta, with final mastering completed by Tom Waltz Mastering in the US.
