So its finally confirmed.
The second edition of our Inter Forum Futsal Tournament has been confirmed as follows:
Date: 11th February 2007 (Sunday)
Time: 9.00am - 3.00pm
Venue: Sports Planet Ampang
At this point of time the following teams have been invited to participate (names in bracket are team managers):
1.Jacsville (Dragon)
2.Rentak Sejuta (Bong Bong)
3.Farahnatics (Raptor)
4.Rockensteiners (Aryna)
5.MyNita (Alex)
6.Blue Hyppo
7.PMF (Rayboy)
8.Locomaniacs (Revo)
9.Supersukis
10.Orange Family
11.Pow Pow Team (8TV)
12.Pinkies (Milo)
Just for starters, here are some core rules for the participation:
Core Rules (Teams):
1.This tournament is open strictly to registered members of their respective forums or fan clubs.
2.No team is allowed to field any professional, semi-professional or amateur league futsal players in the tournament. This includes all futsal coaches/trainers and state/national level players as well. Teams will be immediately disqualified from the tournament if it is discovered that such players have been fielded in their teams. This is to ensure fair play among all teams and to avoid giving any specific team an upper hand.
3.Each team must be represented by 5 players on the pitch and must field a minimum of 2 female players during any period in an ongoing match. Each team may comprise up to 15 pre-registered players. Only pre-registered players can be fielded once the tournament commences.
4.Each team is allowed unlimited substitutions during match play, but must maintain a minimum of 2 female players on the pitch throughout the game.
5.The minimum age for a player is 15 as of tournament date.
6.The eligibility of a player will be determined by the umpiring committee. Any objections regarding any player can be forwarded to them, and all decisions made upon that will be final.
7.All players must be attired in similar team colours for their respective teams. Team colours must be requested in advance to avoid color clashes. Some teams may be requested to have 2 sets of colours at the discretion of the organizing committee. This alternate color may be black or white. The following colours have been already pre-assigned. Alternate colors are in brackets:

Pinkies ¡V Pink
Paul Moss Forum ¡V Black (White)
MyNita ¡V White (Black)
Rentak Sejuta ¡V Maroon (White)
Rockensteiners ¡V Black (White)

8.The entry fee for each team is RM 120.00 payable one week (7 days) in advance from the tournament date.

THE DRAW
The first round will have 3 groups with 4 teams per group. Each group will comprise of 2 returning teams & 2 new teams. Matches will be played round robin, and the team with the highest points in their group will be advancing. The best runnerup of the 3 runner ups in the group stages will also advance.
The actual grouping draw will be done half an hour before kickoff on match day. The will be 2 sets to be drawn. One for returning teams and one for new teams. Groups will be classified as groups A, B & C.
2 teams will be drawn from the returning pot and placed in Group A.
2 teams will be drawn from the returning pot and placed in Group B.
2 teams will be drawn from the returning pot and placed in Group C.
2 teams will be drawn from the new pot and placed in Group A.
2 teams will be drawn from the new pot and placed in Group B.
2 teams will be drawn from the new pot and placed in Group C.
The Returning Teams:
Jacsville, Pinkies, MyNita, Blue Hyppo, Farahnatics, PMF
The New Teams:
Rockensteiners, Supersukis, Orange Family, Locomaniacs, Pow Pow, Rentak Sejuta
Round 2 will be the semifinals. The 3 group winners and the best runner up will meet in the semifinals. A draw will be made to see which team will face each other, with one exception, the runner up will not play its own group winner.
The winners of the semifinals will play each other in the finals.
