These bold and brazen lads are planning to kick up a storm.
At least 8,000 fight fans are expected at the Voltage Selangor Super Series 2011 (Voltage) kickboxing event, scheduled for this Saturday, 24th September, 2011, between 6pm and 11pm, at Stadium Malawati in Shah Alam. Sixteen of the best available kickboxers from world over, will lock fist and feet with each other for honours, when the Heroes of China take on the WLF-Stars at Malaysia's very first world class international stadium fight event, which is brought to you jointly by rising local fight promoter Knockout Promotions Sdn Bhd and Wu Lin Feng, China's most prestigious and largest organisers of kickboxing events.
The international Tomoi exponents, made up of champions from from Malaysia, China, Australia, New Zealand, Nigeria, Laos, Russia and the Cook Islands, were formally presented to members of the media, sponsors and invited guests, at the official weigh in and match up ceremony held at Vogue The Club in Plaza Mont Kiara on Wednesday evening.
According to Carliff Carleel, founder and CEO of Knockout Promotions, " Voltage is a unique opportunity for Malaysia's leading martial arts exponents in the field of Tomoi, to compete with some of the best fighters in the world. Malaysia will for the first time get to watch the event live in a stadium - just like it's run in other world class events globally - as well as at home through a delayed broadcast on Astro Supersports."
