What are your reasons for joining So You Think You Can Dance?
To gain experience and to represent the country as part of the SYTYCD family and to show that Malaysia Boleh!
Have you ever entered any similar competition? IIf yes, what are they and what are your accomplishments in the competition?
Levi's Talent Quest All Girls Talent Competition in 2002 and was the Top 12 finalists.
Do you have any dance idols?
Donald Maclean, Debbie Allen, Nia Micheals, Brian Friedman, Wade Robson, Suzanne Farrell, Mikhail Baryshnikov, Shay Norman, Marcus Tucker and Ramli Ibrahim.
How long have you been dancing?
Started dancing when I was 9 doing Tap and Ballet. Eventually moved on to gymnastics and had diverse trainings there from Russian former Bolshoi Ballet dancer Tatiana and modern dance from coach Helena from Uzbekistan. I then moved to the US and learned African Jazz, Modern, Ballet and Choreography for 3 years and toured with a dance group from Ohio.
What interest you to take up dancing? [/color]
My sister used to go to dance classes and I tagged along from there to see what all the fun and excitement was about. My dancing really started from there.
How far do you see yourself in this competition?
I see myself having great hopes to go far in the competition, but unfortunately one never knows what could happen as the votes are not in our hands but of the audiences'.
What are your hopes and goals?
My hope and goal after this is to soar as a well known dancer and especially a choreographer.
Did you try out for SYTYCD season 1? Did you get through the first time?
