Sasi The Don Album Launch @ Mist Club (17/7/11)
PUT YOUR KAIYES IN THE AIR FOR MALAYSIA'S REGGAE AMBASSADOR
Nobody could have been more inventive than Sasi The Don, for substituting one of clublands most anthemic phrases "Put Your Hands In The Air" with "Put Your Kaiyes In The Air" on his fourth multilingual album release, entitled "Don't Panic. Its Just Music", which was revealed at a launch party held at Mist Club in Bangsar, last Sunday. Kaiyes, is of course, hands, in Tamil, and its unique cross lingual application on his rich and collaborative cross cultural release certainly adds a unique Malaysian flava to his reggae infused sound.
