Ice Cream 4U Charity Concert 2010 @ Stadium Badminton, Cheras (23/10/10)
The origins of the idea of "Ice-cream 4u Charity Concert" comes from both Sinje and Jet . Both artistes watched about a video clip on youtube that shows the moment of children enjoying the taste of ice-cream in their most genuine and innocent manner. Hence, both Sin Je and Jet want to provide this to under-privileged children who are disabled orphans.
Last year 2009, the charity concert even got Diva Sandy Lam from Hong Kong to join from the artiste line-up. Tickets were sold out and a total RM200K was raised for the kids.
This year 2010, joining hands and coming together for the 2nd time in the name of charity, love and for a worthy cause, the `never-been-seen-before’ impressive artistes line-up includes Sinje, Jet, Fish Leong, Nicholas Teo, Victor Wong,A-Bin, Yu Heng & Taiwanese singers Jonathan Lee and Zeng Shu Qin as Guest Artistes.
All donations and funds raised will be in aid of PUSAT PENJAGAAN KANAK-KANAK CACAT TAMAN MEGAH (PPKKCTM), which runs a Home for the disabled and the underprivileged. (http://www.ppkkctm.org/). All proceeds will be used towards the building and expansion of the Home.
Charity and Music undoubtedly go hand in hand for we believe that the power of music is universal and cuts across all barriers. We hope that everyone can join us for this charitable cause while being entertained. Come and have a great fun-filled night with your family and friends at the Concert!!
