Her signature crystal clear voice is soothing and down-to-earth and this unique style has enabled her to transcend esoteric jazz audiences and reach crossover mainstream appeal. In 2008, Natasha graduated from Carnegie Mellon with a Bachelor of Humanities and Arts (BHA) in International Relations and Music Technology (Dual-Degree) with double minors in History of the Arts, and Jazz Vocal Performance. She spent her last 2 years on the University’s High-Honors Dean’s List. Along with The Michael Veerapen Trio, you might catch Natasha singing the music of Ella Fitzgerald, Anita O’Day, Carmen McRae, Julie London, and Blossom Dearie.
