Konsert Rock Never Dies @ Warisan Hall, Sijangkang, Telok Panglima Garang, Selangor (10/08/2024)
Asam Pedas London: The launch of Rock Album Never Dies saw 20 songs included in Malaysia's latest rock compilation album. Also launched is the Never Dies Rock Concert on 10th August 2024 at Warisan Hall Studio with tickets only RM 50.00.
The opening ceremony was completed by Dato' Awie successfully. Various sub-genres of rock can be found from this album, no matter from pop rock to metal rock, everything is there, including indie rock such as The Alif ft Marionexxes with a song called Halal. An album full of rock flavors, really rock. "Halalan Toyibban, woo hoo hoo, we all want to be clean, pure, pure, everything that is halal" quote from the chorus of the Halal song.
We also have representatives from Singapore namely The Flow and Korokodel groups. The ceremony also featured local rock bands such as Melissa, Meditasi and Lemon T. "The rock era may have ended but with the change in taste it is not impossible for rock to rock the art scene of the country again" said Sood from the Roots N Boots group referring to the glory of rock in the 80s and 90s.
The journey of the event is complemented by a montage of all 20 bands involved. Uniquely, there is also the announcement of the music video launch by The Voltage that continues to use the atmosphere. The preview of the songs is of interest to the audience from the media to get this album which is only available from each band involved.
The album compilation organized by FGI Entertainment assisted by Melissa Records has been planned since the beginning of the year and successfully gathers rock bands from various backgrounds to make it easier for rock fans to enjoy music in a unique version. Many rock bands have split up but the results of this project reunite them to continue the fight together. The group EXiT has existed since 1985 and has contributed their songs. Likewise the return of the Bahtera group whose album was controversial once upon a time. New names like Bumantra, Crossover and Burntara are also no less great.
The punk rock group, SIOT with their song Politik is one of the best songs on this album. Then not forgetting the breakup of the Viper group with the reunion of Lee Viper to form X-Ternal should be noted. The Sons of Adam legend is also the best in his song, Hey Bro, a catchy pop rock blues nuance. The album ends with the OST song from the movie Taufan Ganas by Manusia.
Rock Never Dies album is available from the social media of each band involved. The first printing of 600 units was sold out. New orders have been opened now in the form of CDs and pendrives at the price of RM 50.00 only.
