In a dazzling display of style and compassion, International IPOH Fashion Week (IIFW) returns for its much-anticipated season 6, set to take place on 19th & 20th of July, 2024 in Taiping, Perak.
"Remember the all-time favourite catch phrase 'From Taiping with Love'," expressed IIFW's Founder Louis Sebastian.
Taiping celebrates its 150 years anniversary to commemorate the town’s rich heritage dating back to 1874. This prestigious fashion event, which earned the coveted Fashion Week Award of the Year 2019/20 under the auspices of the Ministry of Tourism, Arts, and Culture (MOTAC), is poised to redefine fashion as a force for positive change. IIFW has become a central platform of positioning Malaysia as a thriving emerging fashion capital by showcasing amazing Perak and Malaysian fashion talents as well as welcoming the world fashion to experience the wonders of Perak through Fashion with a heart. A promising Perak trend that could send a clear message to the world on the importance of a fashion tourism with a heart.
International IPOH Fashion Week (IIFW) has solidified its reputation as one of the most looked forward to events in Perak. We have worked tirelessly since the event’s inception in 2017 to create a platform that celebrates fashion and foster local talents. International IPOH Fashion Week (IIFW) will once again demonstrate its remarkable ability to bring together fashion enthusiasts, philanthropists, and the community at large for a noble cause leaving a lasting impact on both the fashion industry and the lives of those in need under the inspiring motto “Fashion tourism with a heart,”.
Beyond the glitz and glamour of the runway, IIFW has been instrumental in providing a stepping stone for emerging fashion designers and promoting the rich tapestry of Malaysian fashion. The event’s reputation has even extended beyond national borders, with renowned fashion labels and powerhouses from Singapore, Indonesia, Nepal, China and the Philippines. This international collaboration has not only elevated the event’s stature but has also allowed the fashion faculty of Kolej Komuniti Batu Gajah to gain exposure to a wider audience.
We are excited to bring together fashion, tourism, charity, and community once again, creating a platform where creativity meets compassion. An understanding of fashion which contributes to our personal style based on our cultural background, beliefs and environment.
A passion of giving back to the society for IIFW2024 by generating funds for the benefit of Paediatric Department (PHDU) of Hospital Seri Manjung and also for the animal welfare of Zoo Taiping as part of our social responsibility effort. A Royal Charity Gala sit down 8 course Chinese set dinner tables are priced at RM5000 and RM8000 with 3 exclusive sponsorship packages to be graced by HRH Raja Permaisuri Perak Tuanku Zara salim. We urged the people, especially corporate to lend their full support to the event as part of our social responsibility effort.
The support by Perak State Government, Tourism Perak, Majilis Perbandaran Taiping and other State Agencies have made a difference and continue to inspire positive change through the power of fashion by carving its niche of being a marquee fashion event in Malaysia.

IIFW™, the exclusive home-grown Fashion with A Heart Opening Charity Gala Dinner to be held on the 19th July 2022 at Hotel Taiping Perdana shall be graced by Her Royal Highness Raja Permaisuri Perak Tuanku Zara Salim, members of the Perak Royal Family as well as foreign ambassadors, celebrities and performers of both local and international stature. There will be an open to public fashion extravaganza held on 20th July at Raintree Walk, Taiping Lake Garden from 5-7pm. Come and witness these exclusive outdoor street fashion.
I am proud of the exclusive line-up of fashion designers from Malaysia and fashion labels from China, Singapore, Indonesia, Nepal and the Phillipines. The IIFW™ Season 6 will feature a total of 80 local and international models who will take the fashion runway. IIFW™ 2024 is certainly bigger and more impactful.

Fashion tourism is a niche market segment evolved out of three major sectors: Creative Tourism, Cultural Tourism and Shopping Tourism. Founded by the visionary Louis Sebastian in 2017, IIFW has rapidly ascended to become Ipoh’s premier international fashion event. IIFW stands out through its unwavering commitment to charity by becoming a part of a transformation that serves as a platform to generate funds for critically needed medical facilities offering hope and support to children and their families facing medical challenges.
