The owner of the hair salon, the hair stylist is a silent and withdrawn man who has an obsession and love for perfectly groomed long hair. However, he faces eviction due to waning
business and an unspeakable secret.
Wong Yau-nam had his career breakthrough performance in Fruit Chan’s 2002 drama Hollywood Hong Kong, for which he received a Golden Horse Awards nomination for Best New Performer. At the 22nd Hong Kong Film Awards, he scored double nominations for Best New Actor for Hollywood Hong Kong and Just One Look, respectively. Wong has acted in over 50 films. In 2015, he won his first Best Actor award at IndieFEST Film Awards 2015 for Wong Ka Yan. Frank Hui (Director)
A screenwriter and director, Hui graduated from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts in 2005 with a degree in directing. The following year, his short film Wasted won Best Film at the first Fresh Wave Short Film Competition. Overseas, the film won the Silver Prize in the student film competition of the 47th Brno Sixteen International Film Festival in the Czech Republic, as well as the Outstanding Chinese Student Film award at the 6th Beijing Film Academy Student Film Festival. In 2011, director Johnnie To invited Hui to co-direct Trivisa with Jevons Au and Vicky Wong Wai-kit. After five years of work, the film wasreleased in 2016 to great fanfare, winning Best Director at the 36th Hong Kong Film Awards and nominated for Best New Director at the 53rd Golden Horse Awards. Actor Gordon Lam Ka-tung also won Best Actor at the Hong Kong Film Awards for his performance in the segment directed by Hui.

One day, Johnnie (Kevin Chu), a man who tracks cat abusers, tells them about rumors of infamous cat abuser “Cat’s Eye” frequenting an abandoned wasteland where cat
limbs have been found. The three ventures into the wasteland in the dark of night, only to realize that the cat abuser’s next target isn’t a cat.

The founder of the stray cats’ home, Nora loves all animals. She is a direct person who can walk the walk. After her beloved cat was murdered, Nora formed a team of volunteersto stop cat abusers.
Cecilia Choistudied acting at the National Taipei University of the Arts’ Department of Drama. In 2017, she starred in the Viu TV series A Very Short Marriage. In 2019, she appeared in director John Hsu’s hit Taiwanese horror film Detention. Her career-defining film was Beyond the Dream, in which she played dual roles. Her superb performance earned her the Best
Actress award at the Hong Kong Film Critics Society Awards and a Best Actress nomination at the 39th Hong Kong Film Awards.
Aaron (ANSONBEAN)
An employee of the stray cats’ home, Aaron has a crush on Nora. He can be brash, and he is a devout fanatic of urban legends. He believes that abused cats become lingering souls after their death. That’s why he joined the volunteer team to protect Nora.
ANSONBEAN broke out in 2020 after winning third place in talent competition program King Maker III. In the two years since his debut, he has released multiple successful singles as a singer, appeared in over 30 advertisements and appeared in the films Rob N Roll and Table For Six. Equally talented in music, film and TV, ANSONBEAN is a future superstar in the making.
Johnnie (Kevin Chu)
Also vying for Nora’s affection, Johnnie is handsome, rich and a devout cat lover. After visiting the stray cats’ home to see cats, Nora invites him to join her volunteer team. Aaron suspects that he is only faking his love of cats to get close to Nora.
Kevin Chu is a former member of the Hong Kong swim team. After retiring from sports, he entered the entertainment industry and made hisfilm acting debut in Sisterhood (2016). Since
then, he has appeared in many big-budget productions, including Dante Lam’s To the Fore, Herman Yau’s Shock Wave, Look Up, Detectives VS Sleuths and Warriors of Future. His upcoming films include Back to the Past, Once Upon a Time in Hong Kong and Man on the Edge.
Sake (Tony Wu)
Sake contacts Nora’s volunteer team to help him save a trapped stray cat. However, his good intentions actually disguise his true intention.

Daniel Chan (Director)
Born in Hong Kong, Chan made his directorial debut in Australia with short film Half Lit (2004). After the short film received praise from Dr. Stephen Sze Man-hung, former president of the Hong Kong Film Critics Association, Chan was invited to become a scriptwriter by filmmakers such as Stanley Kwan and Eric Tsang. In 2010, Chan wrote and directed Cross (also known as Smile For Me), which won Best Script at the Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival’s NAFF Project Market. Dental nurse Sammi (Karena Lam Ka Yan) ran into chef Hin (Lau Chun Him Terrance) after an incident on the street. When Hin goes to the clinic where Sammi works for an examination,
dentist Steve (Chu Hong), who harbors a crush on Sammi, tortures Hin. When Sammi goes to check on Hin, he shows signs of mental instability. On the next day, Steve is found dead in the clinic, and Hin immediately becomes the prime suspect.
Sammi (Karena Lam Ka Yan)
A dental nurse, Sammi has a tender and weak personality. Due to her family, she is distrusting of people in general. However,she becomes enamored with Hin after meeting him. However, this also triggers jealousy in her boss Steve.

Hin (Lau Chun Him Terrance)
French cuisine chef Hin suffers from mental illness and relies on drugs to suppress his condition. He focuses on perfecting his culinary skills as his way to finding peace of mind.
However, when he becomes attracted to Sammi, his life will take a drastic turn. Lau graduated from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts in 2012, majoring in acting.
In 2016, he co-starred with Dayo Wong and Fala Chen on the stage in the local production of Skylight. For his performance as a mentally ill man in 2020’s Beyond the Dream, Lau was
named Best Actor at the 26th Hong Kong Film Critics Society Awards and Best New Actor at the 14th Hong Kong Film Directors’ Guild Awards. He also received acclaim for his
performance at Leslie Cheung in Anita (2021).
Steve (Chu Hong)
A dentist with a wandering libido, Steve is also a narcissist. He often sexually harasses his clinic’s female employees. He sees the frail Sammi as his prey.
A graduate of the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, Chu began his performing career on the stage and as a member of the band Juicyning, formed with his brother Chu Pak-him
and fellow stage actor Michael Ning. In 2017, he made the jump into film acting with Zombiology: Enjoy Yourself Tonight. In 2019’s My Prince Edward, he starred as a typical Hong
Kong man who wants to marry his long-time girlfriend. The film earned him nominations for Best Actor at the 56th Golden Horse Awards and the 39th Hong Kong Film Awards.
Doris Wong (Director)
Wong is an up-and-coming director who wasthe screenwriter of Yim Ho’sshort film Beautiful 2015 – After Three Days. Taiwanese film New Turn, which was featured at the Golden Horse
Project Market and produced by director Wei Te-Sheng, was released in 2021. Wong also directed the short film Journey, which earned her Best Director at the 11th Global Chinese

Incident: A murder in silence
Dental nurse Sammi (Karena Lam Ka Yan) ran into chef Hin (Lau Chun Him Terrance) after an incident on the street. When Hin goes to the clinic where Sammi works for an examination,
dentist Steve (Chu Hong), who harbors a crush on Sammi, tortures Hin. When Sammi goes to check on Hin, he shows signs of mental instability. On the next day, Steve is found dead in the clinic, and Hin immediately becomes the prime suspect.
Sammi (Karena Lam Ka Yan)
A dental nurse, Sammi has a tender and weak personality. Due to her family, she is distrusting of people in general. However,she becomes enamored with Hin after meeting him. However, this also triggers jealousy in her boss Steve.
A Hong Kong-based actress, Lam won both Best New Actor and Best Supporting Actress at both the Hong Kong Film Awards and the Golden Horse Awards in 2002 for July Rhapsody. In
the following years, she was nominated for Best Actress at the Hong Kong Film Awards for four consecutive years for Inner Senses, The Floating Landscape, Koma and Home Sweet
Home, respectively. In 2009, Lam won Best Actress at the Chungmuro Film Festival for Claustrophobia. In 2015, she won Best Actress at the Golden Horse Awards for director Tom
Lin’s Zinnia Flower. In 2021, she was nominated for Best Actress at both the Golden Horse Awards and the Taipei Film Awards for American Girl, which also earned her Best Actress at
the Taiwan Film Critics Society Awards. Simply put, Lam’s impeccable skills as an actress has been proven to be beyond doubt.
Hin (Lau Chun Him Terrance)
French cuisine chef Hin suffers from mental illness and relies on drugs to suppress his condition. He focuses on perfecting his culinary skills as his way to finding peace of mind.
However, when he becomes attracted to Sammi, his life will take a drastic turn. Lau graduated from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts in 2012, majoring in acting.
In 2016, he co-starred with Dayo Wong and Fala Chen on the stage in the local production of Skylight. For his performance as a mentally ill man in 2020’s Beyond the Dream, Lau was
named Best Actor at the 26th Hong Kong Film Critics Society Awards and Best New Actor at the 14th Hong Kong Film Directors’ Guild Awards. He also received acclaim for his
performance at Leslie Cheung in Anita (2021).
Steve (Chu Hong)
A dentist with a wandering libido, Steve is also a narcissist. He often sexually harasses his clinic’s female employees. He sees the frail Sammi as his prey.
A graduate of the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, Chu began his performing career on the stage and as a member of the band Juicyning, formed with his brother Chu Pak-him
and fellow stage actor Michael Ning. In 2017, he made the jump into film acting with Zombiology: Enjoy Yourself Tonight. In 2019’s My Prince Edward, he starred as a typical Hong
Kong man who wants to marry his long-time girlfriend. The film earned him nominations for Best Actor at the 56th Golden Horse Awards and the 39th Hong Kong Film Awards.
Doris Wong (Director)
Wong is an up-and-coming director who wasthe screenwriter of Yim Ho’sshort film Beautiful 2015 – After Three Days. Taiwanese film New Turn, which was featured at the Golden Horse
Project Market and produced by director Wei Te-Sheng, was released in 2021. Wong also directed the short film Journey, which earned her Best Director at the 11th Global Chinese
Universities Student Film and Television Festival.
