Megastar Lionel pleased to be back in Kuala Lumpur.
He will be coming round the mountain, the next time you hear him, as 5 times Grammy award-winning R&B-Pop juggernaut Lionel Ritchie embarks on an even more edgier musical direction - "edgier backwards" as he proclaims - as he takes on country music, in the next stage of his glorious musical career.
The 60 year old veteran who has sold 100 million albums and with 22 Top 10 charting hits, that include such classics as Truly, Hello, Say You Say Me, All Night Long, Stuck On You, revealed this "never been announced before" scoop to the press, here in Kuala Lumpur, giving attending Malaysian media the heads up on his next project, ahead of the rest of the world.
