COVID-19 Status Update as of 11.59 pm, 1st November 2021
Infections nationwide remain below the 5K mark to report 4,626 new cases yesterday, taking the cummulative total to 2,476,268.
Selangor continues to remain at the top of the leaderboard despite falling significantly to 883 new cases, while Sarawak fell to 478, followed by Johore which went up to 408 new cases.
Kuala Lumpur dropped a bit to 204 new cases while Putrajaya rose by 1 to report 34 new cases.
Kelantan rose significantly to record 461 new cases while Sabah dropped to 393 new cases.
Up North, Kedah dropped to 326 new cases while Perlis went up by 30 to report 46 new cases. Meanwhile Penang climbed back up to 318 while Perak dropped to 190.
Melaka and Negeri Sembilan fell to 184 and 144 new cases respectively. On the East Coast, Pahang rose slightly to 288 while Terengganu dropped a little to 269.
Labuan reported no new cases.
All states nationwide are now below the 1K mark. With the exception of Selangor, all were below 500, yesterday.

Active cases are at 67,233.
5,747 of these cases are currently hospitalised with 569 in ICU, and 301 on ventilators.
Deaths rose to 63, taking the total fatalities to 28,975.
