COVID-19 Status Update as of 11.59 pm, 31st October 2021
Infections nationwide dropped below the 5K mark to report 4,975 new cases yesterday, taking the cummulative total to 2,471,642.
Selangor continued to remain at the top of the leaderboard despite falling to 1,128 new cases, while Sarawak fell to 616, followed by Sabah which also fell, to 447 new cases.
Kuala Lumpur dropped signifiicantly to 215 new cases while Putrajaya rose by 4 to report 33 new cases.
Kelantan dropped significantly to record 370 new cases while Johore also dropped significantly to 363 new cases.
Up North, Kedah rose to 371 new cases while Perlis fell by more than half to report 16 new cases. Meanwhile Penang fell to 255 while Perak dropped to 224.
Melaka and Negeri Sembilan reported 225 and 175 new cases respectively. On the East Coast, Pahang dropped significantly to 256 while Terengganu rose a little to 277.
Labuan reported 8 new cases.
All states nationwide are still below the 1K mark except for Selangor.

Active cases are at 67,969.
5,952 of these cases are currently hospitalised with 562 in ICU, and 326 on ventilators.
Deaths fell to 36, taking the total fatalities to 28,912.
95.5% of the adult population have already received their complete vaccinations, while 97.7% have received their first dose. 2.3% are still unvaccinated. 66.4% of adolescents are fully vaccinated while 74.9% of the total population are fully vaccinated.
