COVID-19 Status Update as of 11.59 pm, 27th October 2021
Infections nationwide surged up again to report 6,148 new cases yesterday, taking the cummulative total to 2,448,372.
Selangor continued to remain at the top of the leaderboard crossing the 1K mark significantly again, with 1,222 new cases, while Sarawak is next, rising slighty to 780, followed by Kelantan which dropped a little to 612 new cases.
Kuala Lumpur dropped significantly to report 273 new cases while Putrajaya dropped by more than half to report 14 new cases.
Sabah rose by 20 to record 585 new cases while Johor rose significantly to 555 new cases.
Up North, Kedah surged up significantly to report 496 new cases while Perlis went up by nearly double to report 42 new cases. Meanwhile Penang dropped a little to 325 while Perak dropped by 6 to report 251 new cases.
Melaka and Negeri Sembilan yoyo-ed back down to report 156 and 199 new cases respectively. On the east coast, Pahang fell to 365 while Terengganu dropped by two to 290.
Labuan meanwhile reported 6 new cases.
All states nationwide are still below the 1K except for Selangor.

Active cases rises to 71,713.
6,169 of these cases are currently hospitalised with 562 in ICU, and 292 on ventilators.
Deaths rose to 98, taking the total fatalities to 28,674.
94. 9% of the adult population have already received their complete vaccinations, while 97.6% have received their first dose. 2.4% are still unvaccinated. 62% of adolescents are fully vaccinated while 74% of the total population are fully vaccinated.
