COVID-19 Status Update as of 11.59 pm, 14th October 2021
Infections nationwide rose to report 8,084 new cases yesterday, taking the cummulative total to 2,369,613.
More surges keep Selangor at the top of the leaderboard with 1,640 new cases while Sarawak remains above the 1K mark as well with 1,061 new cases. Kelantan is next, stays below the 1K mark with 896 new cases.
Kuala Lumpur drops by 5 to 304 new cases while Putrajaya climbs up by 5 to report 24.
Sabah drops to 691 new cases while Johore rises to 804.
Kedah drops a bit more to 416, while Perlis climbs by 50 to report 82 new cases.
Melaka and Negeri Sembilan see 255 and 184 new cases respectively. On the east coast, Pahang drops further to 289 while Terengganu also drops to report 452 new cases.
Labuan continues to report 0 new cases.

7,496 of these cases are currently hospitalised with 702 in ICU, and 367 on ventilators.
Deaths rose a bit to 88, taking the total fatalities to 27,681.
91.2% of the adult population have already received their complete vaccinations, while 95% have received their first dose. 5% are still unvaccinated. 17. 5% of adolescents are fully vaccinated while 67.1% of the total population are fully vaccinated.
