COVID-19 Status Update as of 11.59 pm, 12th October 2021
Infections nationwide fell further to report 7,276 new cases yesterday, taking the cummulative total to 2,353,579.
Selangor returns to the top of the leaderboard with a massive spike of 1,302 new cases while Kelantan also climbs above the 1K mark with 1,028 new cases. Sarawak is next, dipping below the 1K mark with 834 new cases.
Kuala Lumpur rises slightly to 253 new cases while Putrajaya reports 32.
Sabah rises slightly to 707 new cases while Johore drops to 665.
Kedah climbs a bit to 517, while Perlis also rises slightly to report 57 new cases.
Melaka and Negeri Sembilan see 195 and 138 new cases respectively. On the east coast, Pahang dips to 384 while Terengganu drops by 60 to report 420 new cases.
Labuan reports 2 new cases.

10,555 have recovered yesterday taking the total recoveries to 2,217,057.
Active cases now stand at 108,997.
7,505 of these cases are currently hospitalised with 722 in ICU, and 386 on ventilators.
Deaths rose to 103, taking the total fatalities to 27,525.
90.6% of the adult population have already received their complete vaccinations, while 94.9% have received their first dose. 5.1% are still unvaccinated. 11.8% of adolescents are fully vaccinated while 66.1% of the total population are fully vaccinated.
