COVID-19 Status Update as of 11.59 pm, 10th October 2021
Infections nationwide fell further to report 7,373 new cases yesterday, taking the cummulative total to 2,339,594.
Sarawak returns to the top of the leaderboard despite a significant drop, with 1,132 new cases reported while Selangor falls to 1,015 new cases. Kelantan is next with 915.
Kuala Lumpur drops slightly to 151 new cases while Putrajaya reports 31.
Johore drops significantly to record 714 new cases.
Sabah drops significantly to 562 new cases while Kedah drops to 401.
Perlis drops slightly to report 48 new cases.
Melaka and Negeri Sembilan see 203 and 196 new cases respectively. On the east coast, Pahang reports 372 while Terengganu drops by 90 to report 500 new cases.
Labuan reports 2 new cases.

10,959 have recovered yesterday taking the total recoveries to 2,195,669.
Active cases now stand at 116,596.
7,746 of these cases are currently hospitalised with 759 in ICU, and 408 on ventilators.
Deaths fell to 64, taking the total fatalities to 27,329.
90% of the adult population have already received their complete vaccinations, while 94.8% have received their first dose. 5.2% are still unvaccinated. 7.4% of adolescents are fully vaccinated while 65.2% of the total population are fully vaccinated.
