COVID-19 Status Update as of 11.59 pm, 7th October 2021
Infections nationwide rise once again to report 9,890 new cases yesterday, taking the cummulative total to 2,313, 727.
Sarawak remains at the top of the leaderboard with 1,403 new cases while Selangor rises sharply to report 1,402 new cases. Kelantan is next with 1,032.
Kuala Lumpur rise to 250 new cases while Putrajaya reports 59.
Johore once again goes below the 1K mark to record 993 new cases.
Sabah continues to remains below the 1K mark to report 820 new cases while Kedah drops to 503.
Perlis jumps up 4 times to report a record 200 new cases.
Melaka and Negeri Sembilan see 260 and 180 new cases respectively. On the east coast, Pahang which was recently moved to Phase 4 rises a bit to record 564 while Terengganu drops by 5 to report 699 new cases.
Labuan reports no new cases.

12,884 have recovered yesterday taking the total recoveries to 2,157,565.
Active cases now stand at 129, 049.
7,947 of these cases are currently hospitalised with 827 in ICU, and 445 on ventilators.
Deaths rose a little to 132, taking the total fatalities to 27,113.
89.1% of the adult population have already received their complete vaccinations, while 94.6% have received their first dose. 5.4% are still unvaccinated. 4.7% of adolescents are fully vaccinated while 64.3% of the total population are fully vaccinated.
13 new clusters were declared by 12.00 pm yesterday, with 911 clusters still active.
