COVID-19 Status Update as of 11.59 pm, 3rd October 2021
Infections nationwide drop below the 10K mark to record 9,064 new cases yesterday, taking the cummulative total to 2,272,670.
Sarawak remains at the top of the leaderboard with new infections dropping significantly below the 2K mark to register 1,418 cases. Selangor dropped below the 1K mark to report 998 new cases, followed by Johore which dropped a little, to register 1,124 cases. Kuala Lumpur rose slightly to report 201 new cases while Putrajaya drops by 2 to record 24.
Sabah remains below the 1K mark to report a slightly lower 764 while Kedah rises a little to report 670 new cases.
Penang and Perak continue to remain below the 1K mark with 620 and 669 new cases as reported respectively yesterday.
Melaka and Negeri Sembilan see 206 and 191 new cases respectively.
Perlis rises slightly to report 66 new cases while Labuan reports no new cases.

14,454 have recovered yesterday which is lower than the day before, taking the total recoveries to 2,100,565.
Active cases now stand at 150,317.
8,907 of these cases are currently hospitalised with 860 in ICU, and 478 on ventilators.
Deaths rose slightly to 118, taking the total fatalities to 26,683.
87.6% of the adult population have already received their complete vaccinations, while 94.3% have received their first dose. 5.7% are still unvaccinated.
