Lockdown Listen Day 61 (12/09/2021)
Day 61 of Lockdown Listen on 12th September 2021 saw us heading the nineties alternative rock direction:
108. Del Amitri - Change Everything (A&M)
"Changes Everything" is Scottish alternative rock band Del Amitri's third solo album and their most successful album, peaking at #2 in the UK charts.
The blended alternative rock Celtic folk-pop album is good but not great as it lacks variety. It has a much fuller guitar and percussion-heavy sound from their previous offerings but lacks the standout singles. But the album will still appeal to the youths of today as it did back in 1992, especially of lead singer Justin Currie’s clear and precise vocals.
You should be able to find the album on all popular download or streaming platforms, but the vinyl would be a much better choice. Unfortunately, we don't have it on vinyl either as it is not easy to locate. The CD will have to for now.
