RIM Charts 2021 Week 27 (16/07/2021)
BTS' BUTTER REMAINS AT #1 FOR 7 WEEKS WHILE KUCA KACA STAYS ON TOP OF LOCAL CHARTS

The top 200 charts showed limited movement among the leading tracks in week 27. BTS’ Butter held on to the #1 spot for their seventh week with 0.62m weighted streams. This is followed by the non-moving Madison Beer’s Reckless at #2 with 0.47m weighted streams, Olivia Rodrigo’s happier at #3 with 0.36m, and Jamie Miller’s Here's Your Perfect at #4 with 0.35m. Know Me Too Well, released in 2019 by British Trio New Hope Club featuring Danna Paola, entered the top 200 in week 23 and gradually rose to #5 this week. The track recently went viral on TikTok and Instagram Reel, especially in Malaysia and Indonesia.
Elsewhere in the top 20, only two tracks moved up the chart. Olivia Rodrigo’s traitor moved up five places to #14 and Pink Sweat$’s At My Worst rose two places to #20.
10 new entries were seen this week. The highest new entry was Renegade at #54 by American group Big Red Machine featuring Taylor Swift. Renegade is the third single from the group’s upcoming album How Long Do You Think It's Gonna Last? to be released in August. American group Imagine Dragons’ Wrecked debuted at #82 as the second-highest new entry. The track serves as the third single for the group’s fifth studio album Mercury - Act 1 coming in September. Other higher new entries included Korean TAEYEON’s Weekend at #83 and Britney Spears’ Stronger at #94 which was released in 2000.
Few tracks returned to the top 200, with Ayumi Hamasaki’s independent coming back at #61, Munif Ahmad’s Nasyid Zikir Pelindung at #116, Chinese 任然 (Ren Ran)’s 飞鸟和蝉 at #167 and BTS’ Euphoria at #200.
Japanese duo YOASOBI released the English version of 夜に駆ける, which drove the track up 74 places to #113 as the biggest climber for the week. Korean girl group LOONA launched their fourth EP [&] with the title track PTT (Paint The Town) which rose 39 places to #74 as the second biggest climber. A Japanese version was also released as LOONA’s debut Japanese language single. Other notable climbers saw two tracks by Indonesian artists, with Pamungkas’ To the Bone climbing 26 places to #96, and California (feat. Warren Hue) by 88rising, Rich Brian and NIKI rising 24 places to #101. Charlie Puth’s Cheating on You climbed 23 places to #38 with weighted streams increased by 44%, the week’s highest streams growth in the top 200.

Year to date charts – week 27 update
The year to date tracks chart saw the non-moving top 3 which all reached a similar total weighted streams level at 6.9m, with Pink Sweat$’s At My Worst staying at #1, Olivia Rodrigo’s Driver's License at #2 and Giveon’s Heartbreak Anniversary at #3. The Weeknd’s Save Your Tears at #6 enjoyed a comfortable lead over the #7 track by 1.2m weighted streams.
Few movements were seen in week 27. Justin Bieber’s Peaches (feat. Daniel Caesar & Giveon) replaced BTS’s Life Goes On at #7. Doja Cat’s Kiss Me More (feat. SZA) overtook SLANDER and Dylan Matthew’s Love Is Gone at #13. Olivia Rodrigo’s déjà vu surpassed Ariana Grande’s 34+35 at #17.
The year to date artists chart showed no change except Doja Cat overtaking Bruno Mars, Anderson Paak, Silk Sonic at #13 with 6.2m total weighted streams. The #1 spot continued to see BTS with 22.5m total weighted streams. Olivia Rodrigo followed at #2 with 19.8m supported by a massive increment of 1.6m streams contributed by her 11 tracks in the top 200. The gap between Olivia Rodrigo and BTS reduced from over 3m last week to 2.7m this week. Justin Bieber stayed at #3 with 17.2m total weighted streams.
