Tanah Airku Campaign Main Event Virtual LIVE @tanahairku.kuptm Instagram (12/09/2020)
KOLEJ UNIVERSITI POLY-TECH MARA (KUPTM) STUDENTS TO HOST TANAH AIRKU CAMPAIGN MAIN EVENT VIRTUALLY
A virtual event promoting Tourism Industry in Malaysia.
A group of second-year degree students from Kolej Universiti PolyTech Mara (KUPTM) will be conducting Tanah Airku Campaign’s main event on 12th of September 2020.
2020, featuring a speaker from Tourism Malaysia, Malaysia’s celebrity chef, Chef Zam and famous online food reviewers from Destinasi TV. The event will be conducted virtually via Instagram Live from Tanah Airku’s official account (@tanahairku.kuptm) from 11am till 5pm.
The campaign encourages Malaysians to travel within the domestic borders by promoting tourist attraction and interesting food that can be found in Malaysia simultaneously reminding Malaysians to obey the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) when travelling. The objective of this campaign is to
promote domestic tourism to help restore the economy in Malaysia after the impact of Covid-19. To expand the knowledge of our audience, daily postings on Tanah Airku’s official Instagram (@tanahairku.kuptm) and Facebook (@tanahairku) recommending places to visit has been carried out since July.
Besides that, a Tik Tok Competition has been organised to get the participation of Malaysian youth to document their travel in the most creative way as possible. Amazing prizes awaits the top three winners of the competition. Travelogues of food, places and activities are also made by the students to promote the various wonders that Malaysia offers. The campaign will end with a main event.
The event comprises four slots with the first slot being a talk called “Cakap-Cakap Malaysia” with Encik Iskandar Mirza, the Senior Director Corporate Communication of Tourism Malaysia to impart the importance of domestic tourism to revive the economy from 11am till 12.15pm. Next will be a food review, “Jalan-Jalan Review Makanan” by Amal Hasnor and Azry Bom from Destinasi TV to promote the delicacies that can be found in Malaysia from 12.30pm till 1.30pm. Thirdly, a cooking demo by Chef Zam which is called “Masak-Masak” from 1.45pm till 2.45pm. The last slot would be the announcement of Tik Tok competition winners which will be conducted from 3pm till 5pm. To inhibit the spread of Covid-19 in Malaysia, Tanah Airku event will be conducted virtually via Instagram Live.
The audience are able to interact virtually with the speakers during the event as there will be a Q&A session at the end of each slot.
The hashtag that gives identity to our campaign is #Jalanmalaysiaje which emphasizes on traveling around Malaysia only.
There will be slots during the livestream.

Cakap-cakap Malaysia with a speaker from @malaysia.truly.asia and he will be sharing topic regarding tourism in Malaysia.
Second Slot By: Destinasi TV
Jalan-jalan Review Makan with @destinasitv. Destinasitv will make a review on foods that have been chosen.
Third Slot By: Chef Zam
Masak-masak with one of Malaysia's famous chef, @chef_zam
