Watched the Grand Premiere yesterday, sponsored by the boss... found it rather good, interesting storyline, suspense, entertaining in the sense that more and more of the mystery is solved as it goes along. I can't comment based on the book as I've only started reading it... but I'd say this movie is quality stuff. Sure, it might be provocative and sometimes rather graphic, but bear in mind that it's fiction and you'll have a good time. Pretty long too, bout 2 1/2 hours or slightly more... but quite worth it ;D

Yes, only if you are the type of person who would sit and think back what you watch. If you hate brain-cracking, this show ain't for ya. I've never read the book...once I saw the movie today, I understood 75% of it. I have to rewatched again to have a clearer perspective..though eventually I'd know what's DVC's all about. It's really interesting in a way it keeps you wondering whether everything Ian McKellen said in the movie is true or not..hehehehe If you know your DVC facts, try this site and crack the codes..it's interesting. www.randomhouse.com/doubleday/davinci/index-utc.php

yup yup agree wif u... need 100% focus on the story... I'm thinking of a second go too, to get the full picture... but I do get the Last Supper part, I did a detailed analysis on that painting a few years ago when I was still studying in college. and my analysis was rather similar... lol
