KL Indie Fashion Week 2016 Launch @ Timbre (28/4/16)
FASHION GOES COOL - EMPOWERING INDIE FASHION WITH KLIFW 2016

Fashion weeks got even cooler when the inaugural KL Indie Fashion Week (KLIFW) was officially launched at Timbre@The Row on Jalan Doraisamy, Kuala Lumpur last Thursday. #KLIFW2016 which revolves around the concept "Music vs Fashion", provides independent fashion designers, fashion graduates and budding fashion entrepreneurs in Malaysia the opportunity to showcase their creative talents within the fashion and music industry, at their very own unique platform, in a cost effective and far reaching way that will help elevate them to the next level.
The KLIFW 2016 which is also collaborating with The National Cancer Society of Malaysia in its efforts to highlight the importance of liberation, by creating a themed fashion show on empowerment and defiance against the severe illness, involving cancer survivors, and fashion graduates and final year students from #SaitoCollege and #LimKokWing University of Creative Technology. The show is entitled #AkuEmpowered.
The upcoming fashion week which is powered by #BrickfieldsAsiaCollege and #IACTCollege, and supported by brands like #Bagus, #ThatTehTarik, #TuneStudios, #Gigfairy, #ICEWatch, #Jeep, #TroveHairdressing, #ThatFoodiePlace, #SmallNHot and #TraxxFM, will run from 9th to 15th May at #Publika in Solaris Dutamas.
#RentakSejuta and #SelebritiOnline are the official media partners to the fashion week.
