SASI'S "HELLO INDIA" MAKES WORLD DEBUT THROUGH UNIVERSAL MUSIC INDIA

Malaysia's reggae ambassador Sasi The Don released his 5th Studio Album titled “HELLO INDIA” today. From the title itself, this album is considered his first International debut released under the Universal Music India banner to the world. The album features Sasi’s previous hit singles remixed and rearranged as well as several stomping brand new songs. All songs in the album have been produced, mixed and mastered in Malaysia and is now ready for the International Music Arena.
Sasi The Don has been producing music for 13 years now and he is the pioneer to the genre he upholds in Asia. He is one of Asia’s leading artiste in the reggae and dancehall genre. Sasi has released 4 albums and has sold more then 85,000 albums to date. Being the leading name in Asian Reggae, he has collaborated with some of the World’s biggest names in Reggae and Dance music.
Hello India would feature some of these best collaborations that was has previously released but all the songs have been remixed to sound fresh. The album should give music enthusiast a great musical experience and listening pleasure.
The first single from the album is “Island Queen” where Sasi collaborated with legendary reggae Soul master “Maxi Priest”. The song and video has been getting tremendous support from Radio Stations, TV Stations and Online Portals from around the world.
Following up is stomping track “Hello India”, an English-Hindi number which is the key single from the album and is expeted to break Sasi The Don into the international arena. The song features, upcoming Malaysia singer Chaman Jassal, a medical student who performs soulfully in Hindi on the song “Hello India”. The song basically showcases the how everyone experiences India and how more delightful and exciting India could be if we could put a bit of Reggae into the experience. India is truly a beautiful country, the people, the weather, the food and everything about India is an amazing experience and Sasi wants to showcase that experience through his music and this album.
Universal Music Malaysia was the main reason why Sasi went to India. “The support from my label has been amazing since the last 2 years I have been with them, they listen to me and they work hard and that inspires me”. Universal Music Malaysia helped ink the deal with India and includes 7 brand new territories of distribution and marketing for Sasi The Don & “Hello India”. The new album contains 14 tracks, of which 2 are instrumentals, inserted to encourage music fans to use Sasi’s music creatively for their parties, events and launches. "Hello India" once again sees Sasi working with his favourite producer D’Navigator from Malaysia, real name Navin Kumar, who has been with Sasi for the past 10 years and collectively they have produced interesting and energetic tracks.
