TWENTY THOUSAND RAIN SOAKED FANS CATCH BIEBER FEVER

Most everybody will be unhappy with this, but teen sensation Justin Bieber is certainly overrated, at least as far as I am concerned. No doubt the music is infectious, the performances are highly entertaining and energetic, and the whole persona is rather brilliantly packaged. But packaging is all it is. After all the yanks are pretty ingenious when it comes to marketing and selling their wares. They can pretty much make a whole lot out of very little.
To say that Justin Bieber has no talent would be rather unfair, as he is musically gifted, but judging from his vocal delivery throughout the concert, left me wondering, whether this was a case of another Mili Vanili (with a lot of backroom assist thrown in). At times his live singing sounded pretty atrocious, and at times it sounded amazingly fluid, which left me a little wanting and unsatisfied. After all, I have enjoyed all the songs, watched all the music videos and even the movie, and even have warmed up to all the hype, only to be let down by the final live product which was lukewarm at best, at least for me. I guess I was expecting a lot more after all that build up.
Whatever the case may be, the Beliebers certainly soaked it all up in great spirits despite being damp throughout last night, with over twenty thousand of them, filling Stadium Merdeka to its capacity. To them this concert must have been simply incredible and un-belieber-le. And it was all thanks to concert presenters Tune Talk, major concert promoters Midas Promotions & JS Concerts, and Malaysia's top concert planners Fat Boys, who were once again inspired and bold enough to bring in another megastar like Justin to our shores, and infect a sizable amount of us with his fever.
