Episode 6 was pretty much a disaster for most of the hopefuls from the top 12. It seems that (with one or two exceptions), everyone was pretty much skating on thin ice this week, may be leaving the show no sooner than the started. It is a sad fact which is unavoidable.
We want to gauge the general feeling of our loyal commentors as well our viewers. So please drop us your votes in our poll above.
Based on our experiences, it is not always the weekest performer who will be voted out of the show. There are many factors that influence the outcome and it may not always be about vocal abilities. So pick wisely & fairly.

from what i say from the show via online, my guess would be: -Ronny and Tiara
Ronny has a good voice and appeals to most adult but its the teenagers' vote that counts the most in this kind of reality show unless the teenagers nowadays knows what real talents should be! he should try to be more flexible and give more feeling to what he sings... -Tiara, there's no absolute reasons but i just had this feeling that she's not up to the competition...she should worry more of her singing that her dress i think...and also try to be her original self..be original! then ppl will vote But anyway, both of them are really talented!
but anyway, its only my opinoin, feel free to accept or discard, to agree and disagree and better still to argue, criticise and give reasons!

Based on performance, Tiara. Her performance that night is just awful. But like what dragon says, it is not always the worst who will get the boot.
Based on fanbase, Rony. I'm sure people are wondering why is Rony even in the Top 12, he looks old, thus the question that night "Is there a specific age to be an idol." To be honest, I think Rony deserves a chance, I enjoyed his performance!
Verdict: Rony.

Nice way to say it "Victor" Rony is doing good but his age is holding him back. I think Tiara was very awful, also Rina! I have never heard english songs that bad before I wantd to turn off the TV it was starting to blow up!
Siti Sarah did very good, never knew she could sing english that good! she has been the only Malaysian I have ever heard that can sing english that good. keep it up Sarah! It was also good to see Shone come back with better song pick this time.

I agreed with the Shone part, nz. He's like... the underdog of this competition, people think he can't make it, but look at him, he landed in Top 12 with Uncle Paul's help. He should stick to some... funky music or some Malay ballad or something. He definitely came a long way since Malaysian Idol...
Back to topic, once again, I must say, Sarah did a great job that night, she'll survive.
Things will be a lot more... easier to predict after this Friday, we can see if the patern of voting has changed or not, whether they're voting based on talent or looks.

As we all know, being the best singer doesn't automatically earn you the support of the masses. Like I said earlier many different factors contribute to the final tally such as the one I am expounding a little on below.
This is just a simple analysis based on the assumptions that "kakilangs" will vote their own, as in this case, let's say geographically;
Sabahans are big supporters of their own homegrown contestants and will be standing strongly behind their favourites. But unfortunately here lies the conundrum for the Sabahans, a four way split of votes that dramatically reduces the chances for the Sabahans, and as such it is a Sabahan who is most likely to leave the show this week, out of the 2 being eliminated.
Of the four, Ab being a member of a club band is probably the safest, since he has been perfoming in KL and in other parts of the counry for sometime now and probably has more exposure outside of Sabah, and will have more out of Sabah friends and fans to support him as well. Mark is the pretty boy of the competition and is likely to have a chunk of the teenage girl supporters in the country behind him and will most likely be safe as well even without total Sabahan support. Shone runs/work as a chef at Shoney's Restaurant and is constantly exposed to many different people who patronize his place, and who may recognize him and vote for him. Although Ayu has been exposed to the masses from her short stint in OIAM, that may not be enough to help her this year, and may only have to rely on her Sabahan kinsfolk, and is most likely closest to the exit.
Penangites of course may offer full support for their solo finalist, Joni.
Johoreans have always been strong supporters of their own and will be voting confidently for their 2 finalists. Tiara although expected by many to leave the show this week due to her weak performance in Episode 6, may just survive on the Royal Johore's support alone. Rony is a 50-50, although he may have the support of Johore in general. But Rony may just have the support of the non Johorean's as well, as he is a well known band singer having been in the club circuit for sometime now, including having a role with rock group Slam (if I'm not mistaken), and would have the support of his fellow industry mates and regular club goers.
Rina being the only Negeri finalists could have the full support of her state.
The KL-ites, although splitting the votes several ways, between the established stars Intan, Shila & Sarah with limited/progressive fan bases and Australian graduate Iz, may not have to worry as much as the Sabahan's as the majority of the viewers & voters tend to come from the big bad city itself. Of the lot, Iz is the one with the lowest possitive exposure, as the other 3 are already well know, and may have a steady stream of people ready to back them. Iz unfortunately has been potrayed or has come off as "arrogant" on TV by perhap's his western style directness & confidence, which may cost him some votes. Simply a case of cultural differences.
Based on geographical demographics & vote division, it is likely that Ayu & Iz may be the first ones sent home, but all this is merely speculation based on a single factor. We can always expound on other components, which makes this all the more interesting every year. It does offer healthy debate, and we sincerely hope that our viewers will come up with their own alternate formulas, for us to disect. Shoud be fun. Cheers all.

The results revealed that Rony and Rina will be leaving the Top 12. I'm a little surprised and shocked at the moment. I think people ain't voting for Rony just because for his age factor, his performance wasn't the worst that night, and bam!
