Singapore F1 GP Concerts @ The Padang & Marina Bay Street Circuit, Singapore (24 - 26/09/10)
As part of the circuit park's multi-million dollar entertainment schedule, race promoter Singapore GP has unveiled its list of music headliners at the 2010 FORMULA 1 SINGTEL SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX. This year's star-studded line-up includes Mariah Carey, Missy Elliott, Daughtry, and Adam Lambert appearing at a mega stage in the Padang, which is accessible to all ticketholders.
For 2010, Singapore GP has considerably increased the headlining acts available within the circuit park. Fans can enjoy both race action and big name music acts with the same ticket at the same venue, offering more convenience and better value.
By combining the thrills of FORMULA ONE with a stellar entertainment line-up, fans can look forward to a non-stop carnival weekend – all with one ticket. The entire circuit park is being transformed into an urban street party. The headliners on the Padang are just the start of the story. Over 300 performers are part of a diverse mix, ranging from international deejays to aerial theatrical performances and from opera to even a Brazilian martial arts troupe with something for everyone on the 10 stages and in every part of the Circuit Park.
On top of the headliners, Singapore GP will also be bringing in 'old-school' R&B singer and Grammy Award winner Raphael Saadiq, as well as singer-rapper Sean Kingston, who will be performing in other stages across the Circuit Park. On top of these, fans of electro house music can also look forward to a world-renowned remix maestro with Zouk presents - DJ Tiga.
To maximise the entertainment experience for all ticket holders, many artistes will be performing more than once and in different zones and locations around the circuit park.
They are set to complement the previously announced adrenaline-charged performances from the Freestyle Trials Bikers (Zone 3 only) and Brazil! Brazil!, the spectacular Italian showcases from Studio Festi and DIV4S as well as the testosterone fuelled Chippendales (Zone 1 only).
These, as well as the other non-stop roving acts add up to over 300 performers spread across 10 stages throughout the Circuit Park. This is on top of the action on the track by FORMULA ONE as well as support races Formula BMW Pacific and Porsche Carrera Cup Asia.
Singapore GP has also secured the support of LG Electronics as their partner for the main entertainment stage. The Padang stage will be branded 'LG Live at 2010 FORMULA 1 SINGTEL SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX.

Patrons can now choose to purchase either a three-day pass (starting from S$188) or a single-day ticket to catch the wide repertoire of acts at the Marina Bay Street Circuit on 24, 25 and 26 September 2010.
Singapore GP will be releasing single-day Zone 4 walkabout tickets priced at S$38 for Friday (24 September), S$108 for Saturday (25 September) and S$128 for Sunday (26 September) from August 12th, 2010.

DJ Tiga (UK)
Before producing music, the Montreal born DJ-producer-incipient Teutonic legend Tiga was involved in the promotion of rave parties in his native city. During the early 1990s, Tiga was also involved in the creation of world-renowned afterhours club SONA. In 1994, he opened a record store named DNA Records, and in 1998 founded his own label, Turbo Recordings. His album Sexor won the 2007 Juno Award for Dance Recording of the Year.
Tiga is widely known for his remixes: Tomas Andersson's "Washing Up", Scissor Sisters'"Comfortably Numb" and Felix da Housecat's"Madame Hollywood" but also for his covers of Nelly's "Hot in Here" and Corey Hart's "Sunglasses at Night". He produces his own material, but has also worked with Zyntherius, Richard X and Jake Shears from Scissor Sisters. He has frequently collaborated with Mateo Murphy (with whom Tiga forms the duo TGV) and Jesper Dahlbäck, who had produced many of Tiga's newer remixes. His song "3 Weeks" has received repeated airplay in night clubs. His song "You Gonna Want Me" was featured on CTV's So You Think You Can Dance Canada commercial.
As of late 2008, Tiga has continued to produce music in collaboration with Zombie Nation under the pseudonym ZZT; Two 12" releases have resulted from the collaboration. Grammy Award winner Raphael Saadiq, is perhaps better known for his collaborations with artists such as D'Angelo, John Legend, Joss Stone, Stevie Wonder, Jay-Z and The Bee Gees. However he made history with first album "Instant Vintage", released in 2002, by becoming the first artist nominated for five Grammy Awards without having a major record label. The American singer, songwriter and record producer's latest album, "The Way I See It" received three Grammy Award nominations and was voted the Best Album on iTunes in 2008. The former lead vocalist and bass player of multiplatinum group Tony! Toni! Toné! has continued to produce soul music with songs such as "Love That Girl", "Never Give You Up" and "How Does It Feel" that appeals to fans of Motown and 'old school' R&B as well as today's hip-hop listeners.

DJ Tiga (UK)
Before producing music, the Montreal born DJ-producer-incipient Teutonic legend Tiga was involved in the promotion of rave parties in his native city. During the early 1990s, Tiga was also involved in the creation of world-renowned afterhours club SONA. In 1994, he opened a record store named DNA Records, and in 1998 founded his own label, Turbo Recordings. His album Sexor won the 2007 Juno Award for Dance Recording of the Year.
Tiga is widely known for his remixes: Tomas Andersson's "Washing Up", Scissor Sisters'"Comfortably Numb" and Felix da Housecat's"Madame Hollywood" but also for his covers of Nelly's "Hot in Here" and Corey Hart's "Sunglasses at Night". He produces his own material, but has also worked with Zyntherius, Richard X and Jake Shears from Scissor Sisters. He has frequently collaborated with Mateo Murphy (with whom Tiga forms the duo TGV) and Jesper Dahlbäck, who had produced many of Tiga's newer remixes. His song "3 Weeks" has received repeated airplay in night clubs. His song "You Gonna Want Me" was featured on CTV's So You Think You Can Dance Canada commercial.
As of late 2008, Tiga has continued to produce music in collaboration with Zombie Nation under the pseudonym ZZT; Two 12" releases have resulted from the collaboration. In 2009 he released his second album called Ciao!, with production from Soulwax, James Murphy, Jesper Dahlback, and Montreal native Gonzales.

In a show that combines the extraordinary martial art of Capoeira (kah-poh-ayr-ra) with the uplifting music and dance of Carnival, Warriors of Brazil showcases all of the power and the passion that is modern Brazil. Melissa Bergland – Blue Eyed Soul (Australia)
Melissa is a classically trained pianist and flautist, and an Honours Drama Graduate from Flinders University, South Australia. She started her singing and drama career at Pembroke School where she appeared in "Waiting for Godot" and as Anita in "West Side Story", also singing and playing with the band and orchestra.
Critically-acclaimed in "Blue Eyed Soul" at last year's Fringe, Melissa took her "amazing" voice to study in New York in May 2009 and featured in the recent New York Musical Festival.

Vanessa Fernandez (Singapore)
Vanessa Fernandez is one of the lead vocalists in one of Singapore's most successful English music export, Urban Xchange; as well as the lead singer in the quirky yet popular space-rock outfit, Parking Lot Pimp.
Arguably Singapore's best female vocalist, for the 26-year-old, music was never a choice, but what she was born to do. At 12, she was part of a church choir and performed at various school events. Four years later she became a member of The Singapore Repertory Theatre Young Company acting in several plays and musicals including a leading role in Dick Lee's Re:mix. In 2000, her group Urban Xchange took Singapore and the region by storm. The regionally successful band had a song featured on the Rush House 2 soundtrack, sang on a specially repackaged Asian edition of Brian McKnight's"Superhero" album, was nominated at the MTV Asia Awards 2002, and performed with Stacie Orrico at the MTV Asia Awards 2004. Later she became the lead female vocalist in the band, Parking Lot Pimp, featured by MTV as their first local artist on their Advance Warning programme, and chosen to be Singled-Out by Channel [V].
Freestyle Trials Bikers
For the first time in Singapore, a freestyle trials motorbikes stunt show will take centrestage on the floating platform, exclusively for Bay Grandstand patrons. This high-action choreographed bike show will keep the crowd on the edge of their seats with a showcase of spectacular tricks performed on a 50-metre wide and 12-metre high stage setup by professional stunt riders on trial motorbikes.
Featuring professional freestyle stunt bikers, including Australian Jack Field and Frenchmen Julien Dupont Johan Picas, and Chris Braund, crowds can expect daredevil stunts such as 180 and 360-degree spins and high-level stalls, against the stunning backdrop of Singapore's Marina Bay skyline.

Patrons can now choose to purchase either a three-day pass (starting from S$188) or a single-day ticket to catch the wide repertoire of acts at the Marina Bay Street Circuit on 24, 25 and 26 September 2010.
Singapore GP will be releasing single-day Zone 4 walkabout tickets priced at S$38 for Friday (24 September), S$108 for Saturday (25 September) and S$128 for Sunday (26 September) from August 12th, 2010.
