marvelous... thanks for cheering for us. I think we could use more supporters. Only my crazy friends will cheer for me. As for the "boo"ing.. I think most of the time, I hear the "boos" for what the judges say to the contestants. marv dude is not the only one cheered for Sue. i cheered for her too. ;D i don't know which part marv stood last week, but maybe that crowd was the uncivilised ones (sorry to say this). bcz from where i stood, we cheered for everybody, and with extra loud volume (courtesy of our specially built-in PA system) to our favourite contestants of course. in general, none 'boo'ed the contestants from our side. we 'boo'ed the judges quite a lot though, he he (sorry judges. we wanna have some naughty fun too)..
but i think we can't really help the fact that there are some contestants out there lack of supporters. hence the less intensity of screams and shouts during their performances. our side did cheered the names of the contestants too, but it's quite impossible for us to cheer all 18 names the whole night. favouritism exist in this cold hard world you see. but in general, the 'woohoo', 'awesome', 'woot', 'yay', 'phewittttt', 'greatttt' and endless claps and craaayzeh shouts are our standard treatment to all contestants. ;D
so far yang paling rude adalah all those dudes yang keep shovelling people to get in the allocated areas in ruums (so that the audience won't cross the red-white line on the floor).

i think ppl should have a freedom to express themselves (may it be booing or whatever). plus it is a competition. i mean, we "boo" the malaysian football team all the time, we dont get bouncers (in this case the f.r.u) kicking them out of the stadium anyways, dance itself is a form of expression. kicking this "rude ppl" is not the answer. thats sooo like high school.

last night was the night i lost my respects to some elderly (during the show). i think i can totally relate to what happened to one of the forumer's friend (burnt, i feel you man!) here quite sometime ago.
i'm talking about rude aunties.
no offence, but this goes personally to Jo. it's about Jo's supporters (merely two people okay, not that many anyway). professionally, i think Jo is one talented dancer. i support her, and i love her. but her supporters (maybe her mum, or relative?) has really got me on my nerves last night
there only two Jo's fans last night at our side.. not a biggie, we are not one territorial bunch of people, and we don't mind other supporters too. we support Jo and other contestants as well.
but because the number of our group was quite big, the crew asked us to swap spots with the aunties (and a small bunch of Noor's fan), so Noor's fan & the two Jo's supporters would get the right side of the space (near the judges) and we get the space near the entrance. this was done because our number was quite big, and the crew was concerned if we 'accidentally' syok sendiri and squashed Noor's & Jo's supporter to far left side and conquer the whole space.
fair enough.
we traded the space. no complain from Noor's fan. in fact they were happy cause they'll get better view and more space to claim. and i think noor's fan was quite pissed at the beginning with us when we were ushered to their space and suddenly our group inch by inch 'pushing them away' (sorry guys, it's the managemnet that night--so berterabur).. so when the trade was done, they appeared to be less pissed (at least that's what shown on the naked eye).
but the aunties hor...aiyah.. first they didn't want to shift. i don't mind if they don't want to shift. it'll be their lost cause. they will eventually going to be 'swallowed' by our group anyway. but being a very courteous gentleperson myself, i kept on explaining to them why they should move. besides, they'll get better view if they shift to our space. after we finally had managed convincing her (and the other aunty), they gave in and traded the spots.
however, it didn't end there.
the auntie in the polka dot blouse (whom i think must be Jo's mum) start to act, mmmmm, weird. she started to hold her poster too high up, it blocked our view totally. sudahlah kena tendang pergi tepi pentas, kena block view pulak. we kindly advised her to hold the poster down, the highest point tolerable is at chest level. she argued and said 'you cannot tell me what i can do and what i cannot do'. wah.... can ah? after few minutes, the courtesy was gone and annoyance kicked in. when a number of people told her to hold her poster down, she finally gave in and held the poster at her chest area.
BUT still, it didn't end there.
she loudly complained to another aunty (throughout the whole show, mind you--i'm not exaggerating), that WE ARE LIARS. we lied to her about the space swapping, we lied to her about holding the poster.
i said to myself, OWH SHUTTUP. but only to myself la. even when i was superly pissed, i could never bring myself to say those words to an old lady.
what i'm trying to say here is even when you're a loyal fanatic of a contestant, please be more courteous to other people. we are watching the show together in that small space, so let's be nice with each other shall we? being older doesn't necessarily guarantee respects from others. do take care of you attitude. you might mess with the wrong people and it will only bring loss to your side. just imagine if Jo was in bottom 4 last night. i couldn't help but will probably not going to vote her just because her supporters being rude.
i apologize to Jo but the aunties really need some education on manners.
*still support Jo*

I'm a fan of Joanne as well and if is true what mungojerry mention , my advise to Jo is to inform your supporter dont "burn bridges" as you never know if you ever falls into bottom 4 , you may need the sms support from other group as well . Create more fans and not enemies . No offence
