PLS SHARE YOUR VIEWS AS WELL OK GUYS!
1. Gerhana Skacinta
- performance was rather weak, i did not hear much vocals and the harmony was all over the place. Nothing good about it that i can remember, except that it made me yawn several times and i guess, overall, it was totally boring - Sorry!
2. Farah AF
- honestly, i preferred her earlier performance at IKON and the others in AF few years ago - I expected more out of this AF talent as i know and have heard her belting out some really good vocals before. But she disappointed me here and she seemed to be screaming and shouting her lungs out most of the times - hilang her unique lunakness - sorry not IKON material on this one.
3. Flop Poppy
- entertaining especially with the Scottish influenced outfits but unfortunately, the song was bit draggish, like there's no tomorrow (sometimes the concept "Esok Masih Ada" just doesn't fit guys). Overall, the performance was forgettable. Just like the name, it was dreadfully a flop. but I have this inner voice that tells me they will make it to the Finals
4. Dayang Nurfaizah
- a classic performance by this R&B Diva, she proved for once, she was worthy and deserves to be in the Semi-Finals, great vocal stretching to the maximum but at times, to me it seemed she was imitating Jac - However, a very very powerful performance from Dayang.. OUTSTANDING and I loved it but I wonder why didn't she perform this well in One In A Million huh?
5. OAG
- Hmmmmm... crowd seemed to enjoy the medleys and singing along to it but at some point, i just didn't feel that entertained - perhaps the part he was rolling on the floor and almost falling off the stage near the drummer got me a little excited but that's it. Overall, just OK.
6. Reshmonu
- One of the most creative performance I would say, again this man knows how to entertain his audience. However, vocally Reshmonu was not as strong as some of the other contestants, but he managed to keep us smiling and tapping our feet at the same time. Well done Resh and yes! Keep on playin dude!
7. May
- I would say the most enjoyable and entertaining performance of the night - i remembered this band back in high school.. they were great . Despite the cool mat-rocker outfits and crazy maniac fans, i couldn't understand a single word he was singing and most of the time i had my hands in my ears, as i couldn't tahan the screaming, but i enjoyed their silly performance tremendously. What a screaming queen.. hehehehe ;D
8. Mawi
- OMG! Where do i even begin? Well to start off, he started off on the wrong key. Rumour has it that reporters were seen laughing and the judges took off their ear-pieces as they probably were appalled and had given up hope on him. The 2nd song, was much much better in terms of vocal but i am puzzled as to are we promoting Malaysian music or is this an Arabic IKON? Rest assured, 30% votes will be maximized by him due to his loyal fans and undying support from *****
9. Jaclyn Victor
Finally, the person I been waiting for, great intro by the violinist and i had goosebumps just with her opening line of TIADA LAGI INDAH. A beautiful soulful feeling was felt across the auditorium. Superb divalicious performance by Jac with excellent vocal control and variations. 2nd song kicked off well and Jac managed to tease the crowd with her dance movements whilst singing to the words of INILAH MASANYA. Great song choices and overall, the strongest vocal of the night and memang DAHSYATlah. However, i did not like her restricted outfit, which seemed to interupt her movements, cant blame her though with the recent uproar on the dressing issue... ;D
10. Jinbara
- Errrr i guess i was still stunned and mesmerized by Jac's performance, i completely forgot to pay attention to this group. Nothing much to harp about except i thought they were kinda weak in terms of vocal and overall showmanship. The only thing commendable was the traditional percussion players. That was really something but the collaboration between them and the Jinbara just did not really jive for me, unfortunately. Sorry!
Highlight of the night, would probably be the host, Sarimah with her dramatic diva entrance - specially with her miming to Snap's I GOT THE POWER - she was just hilarious and knows how to make an entrance - Congratulations Sarimah for her excellent hosting! ;D ;D ;D
and nice to see JACSVILLE banner on tv, its just overwhelming.. hehehe
Here's my prediction : -

2) - OAG ;D
Wildcard (if any) - Jinbara
