Fast on the heels of NTV7's Corneto Love Perhaps, comes the latest gender relationship based reality show from 8TV. Here is an extract on what the show is about as taken from 8TV's website:
What Women Want
What Women Want is a reality show which seeks to answer the long standing question. It''''s set to be launched with a strong campaign to rally the women of Malaysia to send their answers, getting them excited from the onset. Bottom line, it's a show that will touch the nerve center of every woman. 13 pre-selected top contenders for the title will be put through weeks of tasks to bring out their best abilities in pleasing a woman. They will be judged upon their manners, characters and innate abilities to perform when pressured with tasks that is so foreign and may at times, challenge their masculine personas. At the end of the show, women all over Malaysia would falllen in love with at least one of the men on the show. Host: Hannah t
It airs every Thursday at 10.30pm. Give it a try and tell us what u guys think. 2 episodes have since been aired with 2 casualties already leaving the show.
Perhaps the women in this forum are prepared to let us know what they want from men, and also, the men or boys can tell us what they think (delusionally) that women want. This could be really interesting. Can't wait.
I managed to watch yesterday's episode, and was shocked to find a bunch of sissies categorised as "men". If these are what women want, god save the women. Even Anas (Mrs Dragon) was cringing at the thought of these so called "men" who apparently are what women want. Pretty as they may be, none of them seem to exude anything resembling manliness. If Mrs Dragon was the judge, she would have eliminated every single one of them yesterday and wrapped up the show for the season.
Thankfully for 8TV, Mrs Dragon is NOT one of the judges, and the show will go on. Hopefully, some of the contestants will develope their manliness as the show progresses (i doubt it seriously), and eventually figure out what women want. Ha! Ha! (Wicked laugh).
Perhaps they could introduce old farts like myself or Milo into the show (who definitely are not such pretty boys but we certainly have our our egos (LOL), priorities and manliness intact). We certainly wont claim to know what women want, but we certainly wont be mistaken for anything less than being men.
Cheers all.
