Hi fans This year PSS2 in Singapore has 4 rounds of audition. The male has an increase of double in people auditioning mainly due to last year champion Kelvin Tan's success encouraged many to join. Top 24 chosen for the Quarterfinals. More details would be posted. Channel U's mammoth singing competition Project SuperStar will begin a new search for its next singing superstar come Nov 8, 2006! Last year's Project SuperStar shot budding singers and champion Kelvin Tan Weilian and runner-up Kelly Poon from obscurity to fame. This year, spurred on by their success, 6000 SuperStar hopefuls turned up at the two-weekend auditions held in early September, eager to make an impression. And made an impression 24 hopefuls did! Selected in front of a ‘live' audience at Suntec City Tropics Atrium , these 24 raring-to-go quarter-finalists are now ready to face the music, literally, as they vie for the votes of judges and all you at home. Under the guidance of music director Wu Jiaming and the close scrutiny of judges - Singapore 's acclaimed singers and producers Ye Peifen, Li Feihui, Xu Huanliang, Fang Zhonghua and Li Weisong – the 24 will be brought to the test. Will they be able to take the heat and rise up to the challenge? Who will up their game? And who will be left biting the dust?
