TM Net launched its cool & hip music portal last Saturday 26th August 2006 at Zouk KL. The team from Rentak Sejuta were on hand to witness the proceedings.
The portal located at music.bluehyppo.com will offer licensed music downloads from its catalogue of over 100,000 songs from both local & international artistes covering 28 genres, some (dangdut, nasyid & ethnic) of which are available exclusively on the site, at a cost of RM 3 per song. Downloads are available in WMA format encrypted with DRM technology at a bit rate of 256K, and are good for 3 transfers only. You can listen to 30 seconds samples of the songs before deciding on your purchase while payments can be made using credit cards, tmnet prepaid cards, TM net's subscriber accounts & My Wallet.
The portal was offically launched by Michael Lai, CEO of TM Net, while guests were entertained by Amy Search, Misha Omar, Jason Lo, Disagree & 3 OIAM finalists.
Milo & me covered the event on behalf of Rentak and attended the pre launch Press Conference. Also seen there were regular forumers Ostro & Wendy (Jacsville), Raptorclans (Farahnatics) and moderators Marina, Sham & Nim (Blue Hyppo). I think everyone who attended had a blast and enjoyed the evening.
The crowd were slowly trickling in at 7pm. Some of them were turned away because of age restrictions.
Of course these 3 familiar early birds got in as usual.
The press made sure they looked good while checking in at the media counter.
Milo made his usual appearance while I was trying to shoot the pretty girl. LOL!!!
Farah just arriving looking fresh & confident as always.
As usual this 2 fellas where up to no good.
