Despite the disintegrating looks, Kelly still turned on the heat with her mad vocals.
It was quite a surprise to see a frumpy looking Kelly Clarkson throttling onto the stage at Bukit Jalil. She had turned into someone's aunt overnight, and not quite the picturesque star as seen on her concert promotions poster & recent album cover. Regardless of her less than flattering image, the very first American Idol blew the fans away with her powerhouse vocals & unwavering energy.
