i-SiNG World 2023 World Finals In Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (22 - 26/11/2023)
Malaysia, the host country of i-SiNG World Finals 2023, will be the official host country of the 5-day event in 22nd - 26th November 2023 and Kuala Lumpur, the symbolic city of Malaysia, will welcome more than 30 countries and 200 participants around the world in November for this global phenomenon.
To take a glance of what you’d expect at the World Finals in Kuala Lumpur, here is our suggestion of the attractions you should visit while staying in Kuala Lumpur at the I-SiNG World Finale, 22nd -26th November 2023.
What is i-SiNG?
i-SiNG is the biggest singing competition that offers the best platform for all aspiring singers to showcase their talent.
“I” refers to one’s self which also stands for the word “international” and attached to the word “Sing” – bringing one’s self to the international stage to share one’s singing talent. From the organizers of Asian Dreamers and singing competitions in Singapore and all over Asia comes with another talent search intended to provide an annual entertainment in the form of singing and at the same time, give out the i-SiNG Champion titles for solo, group and juniors category.
We are proud to bring i-SiNG to the world since 2017, with the first grand finals held in Yangon, Myanmar where there were more than 25 countries with 30 contestants participated.
In 2018, the grand finals was moved to the capital of France, Paris where we met more than 40 contestants from 32 countries. New elements were implemented to differentiate ourselves during the year by introducing an elimination round – Battling between countries.
i-SiNG Journey continued into 2019 and we were excited to include young talents from aged 6-16 year old into the competition with newly introduced category: i-SiNG Juniors and the first champion of this category was being crowned in Stockholm, Sweden in 2019.
After three year of pandemic, we are delighted to bring the World Stage back to Asia in 2023! Malaysia will be the host country this year and we will welcome back all singing talents from all over the world to Kuala Lumpur – a symbolic city where True Asia is!
With i-SiNG, we aims to gather the world’s best singers in one place year after year. This will offer all talents from 6 year old and above the opportunity to demonstrate their vocal talent and prowess by competing for the i-SiNG titles. This will give singers and the public a unique, high quality, and unforgettable experience! So join us and be part of us!

World Finals Mechanics
i-SiNG World (Aged 17 & above)
Solo Category
Group Category (2 – 5 persons in a group)
Under this segment, the competition consists of four (4) competitive rounds.
Round 1: (Any language) – all SOLO and GROUP singers will sing their first song in their chosen language. Maximum of 3 minutes per song.
Round 2: (Battle of the Countries – Elimination) – For both categories, each singer/group will be battling with another country. The battle pairs will be determined at the gala dinner using an Randomizer. Each singer/pair will sing their song in their native language, maximum of 3 minutes per song.
Round 3: (Any language – Elimination) – The winning singers for SOLO and GROUP from the battles will advance to third round where they will sing their song in their chosen language. Maximum of 3 minutes per song.
Final Round: Top 5 from each category will be chosen. Basing from the Round 1 standing, 3 wildcard singers will be chosen to compete along with Top 5. Regardless if the singer got eliminated in Round 2 or 3, their round 1 standing will determine their chance to be a wildcard. All scores will reset to zero. Top 5 + 3 Wildcard singers = TOP 8 of both categories will sing their final song in full.
i-SiNG Juniors (6 – 16 years old)
Solo Category Only
Under this segment, the competition consists of two (2) competitive rounds.
Round 1: (Any language) – all singers will sing their first song in their chosen language. Maximum of 3 minutes per song.
Round 2: (Song in native language) – all singers will sing in language of the country they are representing. Maximum of 3 minutes per song.
Judging Criteria:
Solo
1. Vocal (50%)
Vocal Technique – Tone Quality, Breath Support, Intonation, Diction and Articulation
Rhythm & Tempo – Voice in relation to music
2. Expression (30%)
Performance – How well the performer is able to express the meaning and mood of the song
3. Showmanship (20%)
Show Design – Music Selection, Effective use of Stage and Performance Area, Outfit and style
Entertainment Value – The audience’s and judges’ reaction to the overall performance
Group
1. Vocal (50%)
Vocal Technique – Tone Quality, Breath Support, Intonation, Diction and Articulation
Rhythm & Tempo – Voice in relation to music
Timing – How coordinated the singers are in their performance in regards to syncing of vocals and interaction on stage.
Harmony – How the harmonies have been arranged and executed, Difficulty and Creative.
2. Expression (30%)
Performance – How well the performer is able to express the meaning and mood of the song
Match – How well the voices and personalities match in relation to the song performed
Chemistry – How credible the partners are in their performance, Interaction.
3. Showmanship (20%)
Show Design – Music Selection, Effective use of Stage and Performance Area, Outfit and style
Entertainment Value – The audience’s and judges’ reaction to the overall performance
Choreography – How well the group is able to use the stage and each other to create a show
