Since the show is broadcast live to Malaysia, there are several important rules that all fans who attend the live shows have to adhere to during the show.
1. Strictly no smoking. 2. Strictly no consumption of alcoholic beverages. 3. No scantily clad/indecent attire 4. No indecent gestures
Thanks all.

drago-bro,
are you sure the gals will take point (3) seriously? last thursday, ruums was flooded with loads of japanese/korean-wannabes as well as latino-wannabes. i don't think i have to tell you how bad their sense of fashion were when they mistakenly interpreted the hip-and-latest-trend-of-harajuku and falsely understood the definition of a sexy and foxy lady (or in this case-->obscene?).

The rules were set by the organisers in accordance to what can be shown on national TV. I am just highlighting it for everyone's benefit. It's up to the organisers to enforce it, so if someone suddenly gets shown the exit, they have only themselves to blame.

It's up to the organisers to enforce it, so if someone suddenly gets shown the exit, they have only themselves to blame. hmm..however i think they (the organisers) are lacking in terms of enforcement. same applies to their method of controlling the crowd. i think it's best for the organisers to print the basic rules at the back of the admission ticket for easy reference (because i don't remember reading anything about smoking, alcoholic beverages & skimpy outfit printed at the back of the tix, maybe i missed it? ).
i totally agree with all the regulations set by the organisers. i just think that the chances for most people to abide to rule number 1 and 3 (in some cases number 4) are very low.
however mr.firebreath, thanks for highlighting the rules here. appreciate it!

COOL!!! WELL DONE 8TV! ;D

Yes, well done to TV8 for listening to our woes and acting on it, but of course there is still room for more improvements.
The good news is all our comments and criticism are being looked into and acted upon appropriately, so keep on commenting and suggesting for the benefit of all.
However, I am a little puzzled at the enforment of one of Ruums house rules regarding the age limit of those who can enter. 18 is the limit. Many fans who are parents wanted to bring their young children to the show (accompanied) and were wondering about the ruling. Upon asking 8TV staffers several times over the 2 live episodes, I was told that kids under 18 were not allowed in irregardless of whether they were accompanied by their parents.
But according to several attendees, there were many parents with their kids inside the venue watching the live show.
So what is it 8TV, can or cannot??? Make up your minds guys. Be fair to all. We at Rentak Sejuta do not want to be feeding the public the wrong info based on what you guys tell us, and then get blasted when things don't seem to be as informed.

Okay, that's new... I thought 18 and below are restricted to enter? o.o That's not fair! I'm below 18 myself so I have to stay at home alone while my family watch the show live. All I could do is cheer along with my friends(alone yesterday) from home.
I wish that they make up their mind quick. =X I really want to watch the performance live at Ruums...

I thought this show is open to public.. since it was aired on national tv live.. then y not have more audience to be there LIVE..?? wouldnt it be great with MUCH BETTER crowd rather than just having the "above-18" crowd.. dont forget ppl age between 15 (perhaps it should be 13) and 18 can also be a great supporting audience.. IF is not good..
I m sure there are alot of "underage" SYTYCD fans out there who opt to stay home cause they dont want to waste time going ruums and end up they have to sit at one corner of the mamak to watch the live show.. So near yet so far kinda thingy right.. Parents with children that is so into dancing BUT underage will also stay at home and watch the show.. that means less audience will be in there.. let's not talk bout parents.. friends that brought only ONE pathetic friend that is underage wouldnt leave the kesian fella out there and they enjoy the show themselves inside.. m i right.. automatically ALL OF THEM will head off to maybe somewhere they can find some street dancers performing wild out in KL..!!
I thought 8tv can consider changing their mind to allow AT LEAST fans at the age of 16 onwards to go in.. i m sure 8tv dont want to loose any fans out there right.. afterall there arent any alcoholic drinks serving round right...?? since one of the rules stated NO ALCOHOL DRINKS AROUND.. and the judges' comments could sometimes make some of us snore at the same time.. so it will be hard for them to start doing illegal stuff in there right.. hehehe.. LOL..
