COVID-19 Status Update as of 11.59 pm, 25th October 2021
Infections nationwide dropped to 4,782 new cases yesterday, taking the cummulative total to 2,436,498.
Despite a significant drop, Selangor remains at the top of the leaderboard, with 756 new cases, while Kelantan is next, rising significantly to 796, followed by Johore which dropped to 504 new cases.
Kuala Lumpur rose a little to report 176 new cases while Putrajaya drops to 13 new cases.
Both Sabah & Sarawak dropped significantly to 450 and 493 new cases respectively.
Up North, Kedah dropped significantly to report 333 new cases while Perlis went down by half to report 20 new cases. Joining them, Penang declined a little to 271 while Perak also dropped to 294 new cases.
Melaka and Negeri Sembilan came down significantly to report 177 and 145 new cases respectively. On the east coast, Pahang rose a bit to 256 while Terengganu also rose a bit to 298.
Labuan meanwhile reported no new cases.
All states nationwide are below the 1K mark with nearly all experiencing a decline in new cases.
6 new clusters were reported yesterday. Total active clusters now stand at 528.

Active cases drops to 73,223.
6,234 of these cases are currently hospitalised with 602 in ICU, and 300 on ventilators.
Deaths rose to 92, taking the total fatalities to 28,492.
Of all the cases reported today, only 96 (2%) are in categories 3, 4 & 5. The rest of the 4,686 cases (98%) are in categories 1 & 2.
94.7% of the adult population have already received their complete vaccinations, while 97.5% have received their first dose. 2.5% are still unvaccinated. 55.3% of adolescents are fully vaccinated while 73.2% of the total population are fully vaccinated.
