COVID-19 Status Update as of 11.59 pm, 22nd October 2021
Infections nationwide rose to 6,630 new cases yesterday, taking the cummulative total to 2,420,222.
Selangor remains at the top of the leaderboard, with 1,322 new cases, with Sarawak next, rising slightly to 750, while Sabah drops a bit to register 641 new cases.
Kuala Lumpur goes down a bit to report 322 new cases while Putrajaya went up to 44 new cases.
Both Johore & Kelantan reported 548 and 589 new cases respectively.
Kedah rose slightly to report 432 new cases while Perlis climbed back up a little to report 43 new cases.
Melaka and Negeri Sembilan report 183 and 192 new cases respectively. On the east coast, Pahang dropped slightly to 302 while Terengganu went up to 439.
Up north, Penang rose slightly to 440 while Perak dropped a bit to 381 new cases.
Labuan dropped to 2 new cases.
Overall, all states except Selangor, remain below the 1K mark despite a minor upward swing for a few.

Active cases drops to 80,697.
6,361 of these cases are currently hospitalised with 643 in ICU, and 320 on ventilators.
Deaths dropped to 76, taking the total fatalities to 28,312.
94.4% of the adult population have already received their complete vaccinations, while 97.4% have received their first dose. 2.6% are still unvaccinated. 46.3% of adolescents are fully vaccinated while 72.2% of the total population are fully vaccinated.
