Those of you who want to celebrate Merdeka eve without having to spend a bomb should check out Big Fish Restaurant & Lounge in Damansara Intan. Food & drinks are reasonably priced.
On Merdeka eve (30/08/06), enjoy draft beers (Tiger/Carlsberg) at HAPPY HOUR prices @ RM 8.50+/mug, ALL NIGHT LONG!!!
Big Fish will be having a small buffet for their customers from 7pm. Its free, but make sure you don't just come there to makan, then cabut. LOL!!!
Not only that, you get to be entertained by Malaysia's foremost Country & Western band Os Pombos, from 9pm onwards.
Big Fish is spacious yet cosy, and has a lovely hotel lounge like atmosphere but without looking stuck up. Really a nice place to chill out. Plus they have a nice pool table, if you are feeling a little sporty. And a huge projector screen to watch the Merdeka countdown or the Pussycat Dolls, whichever your preference might be.
And the handsome owner is very pleasant, friendly and has an infectious laugh to boot.
