COWBOY DELICIOUS - The only place for affordable and tasty Western Seafood dishes.
I chanced upon this cosy little place while I was prospecting for clients in Cheras. It is located in Tmn Billion and can easily be spotted from Jln Cheras up on the hillslope facing the Tmn Cheras roundabout opposite Makro Cheras. This spot also host many other popular eateries in the neighbourhood.
Cowboy Delight has been operating for over 6 years, and is owned and run by an Mr Liew, an ex chef from The Ship. So you can expect some real quality stuff at this place but at very low prices.
Mrs Dragon & me tried it out on Sunday. I don't have to say much, the pictures will tell you enough. Honestly, I think its great value for diners, with completely cooked lobsters going for only RM 13.50 per 100gm, and with many items starting as low as RM 3.00 on the menu. The entire menu is pork-free.
All seafood served here are fresh, as the restaurant has its own tanks to store live aquatics, with most of the items coming from Sekinchan near Kuala Selangor.
They open from 5pm till 1.00am on most days except Saturday when they stay on till 1.30am. You can choose to sit inside or out in the open air.
Cowboy delight is located at 32 & 34, Jln Siput Akek, Taman Billion, Cheras.
So pretty this flower crab. How to eat? But eat we did. Yummy!!!
This lobster salad was a work of art too. And tasted fantastic as well.
Imagine the 2 of us polishing off all that. Well, Mrs dragon did most of the work though.
Mrs Dragon finished off the lobster, 2 crabs and 3 of the mantis prawns while me not particularly a seafood lover had the US sirloin. but i did try a few bites of the lobster and crab. Lovely taste, though.
"INILAH LOBSTER" proclaims Mrs Dragon.
One of the chefs showing his bravery with 2 untrained live lobsters.
