Waiting In Vain For The Dream To Be Over.
What do you do when your dream comes crashing to a halt, in such a nightmarish manner, as it will for one of the finalist tonight?
"Just imagine this. You are all prepped up and spent the entire week preparing and planning, and charging yourself up, and ready to do even more to impress everyone out there. You listened to all your coaches and did everything like they wanted you to. You already know that your performance this week is gonna be super duper fabulous and will knock everybody's socks off. And you totally get into gear to do just that. Even your rehersals were perfect and had everyone else a bit worried. And you did all this while a cloud of doom still lingered over your head. What mercy. You may not even get a chance to show them the BEST you. All that time and energy spent to make sure that you are not in the bottom 3, the following week, will mean nought, as the hammer falls on your head, and you are unceromoniously sent out the door. A dream dashed. But worse, the cruelty of it all, for having to endure the weight of the blow, for an entire week, even before it hit you. Not only does it impact you in the harshest of ways, it completely destroys the moral of the rest of your fellow competitors, some of them, unfortunately were starring at the exit for a brief period too, alongside you. Their game plan now in tatters. Truly traumatic, not just for the contestants, but their familes, friends and fans as well. Plus it gets more frustrating to the people who coached you the entire week, all their efforts now wasted and down the drain. And nothing to show for it. All in vain."
So what do you do then?
To all the contestants who are facing this unusual and seriously flawed predicament, I wish you all the best, no matter what the outcome maybe. May all the lessons learned during this adventure guide you to achieving your goals & dreams irregardless. For those of you who are lucky enough not to be eliminated but are effected more than the others in this situation, you just got to suck it in, blank out the events and deliver at its best what you have been working towards. Show us that you are tough enough and good enough to earn that million RM, and are made of sterner stuff. Good luck guys.
