It's Thursday already, and I am sure everyone will be holding their breath when they announce the bottom 6 or 4 or whatever surprise they may churn up today, and especially more so when they reveal the names of those who are eliminated this week.
I am almost certain there will be many unhappy viewers who will not be satisfied no matter what the results turn out to be today. I am sure there will be cries of unfairness and favouritism among some even if the best dancers still remained.
After all it has become such a distrusting nation, that even a show that tries its utmost to remain aboveboard will still be panned as being fixed. So in the end even the honest may just get labelled as dishonest even without any proof or substantiation, simply because it is deemed a common practice in the industry. You can't win can you. After all there will always be detractors. There have been for decades, and will be decades more to come, but nothing will change that I suppose.
We just hope that Malaysia will vote for the best of the lot based on the overall talent and not just on their personalites or looks alone. But I am sure Malaysians are mature enough and are more discerning these days to do just that. And I sincerely hope that the viewers, and even the contestants, will be open enough to accept whatever the outcome without simply throwing accusations at various parties.
If there is anyone really to blame, it should be ourselves, especially since we do have the option to lobby and vote in our preffered talent, to ensure their continued survival in this competition.
Let's have a good evening today, and lets all hope the contestants bring on their best game, and give us something to remember. We wish every single one of the contestants the very best. This is your day. So please shine as bright as you all can.
Cheers.
