The BorneoCraft Global Expo & Conference (BCG2024) is a landmark 5-day event celebrating the rich cultural heritage and diverse traditional crafts of Borneo.

MasterCraft Challenge is an exciting competition for Sarawak’s artisans of all levels, where 10 selected crafters will compete within a 3 hours timeframe to showcase their creativity and skills across various craft categories, vying for the title of MasterCrafter.
MasterCraft Challenge participants are down to 10 finalists from initial 20. And that the finalists will have to bring their own materials for the showdown.
Categories:
Participants can enter their creations in one or more of the following categories:
Basketry:
Any forms of weaving or braiding into baskets.
Beading:
Art of using tiny beads to design and decorate items that add texture and color to handmade crafts.
Textiles:
Including sewing, embroidery, and quilting.
Fibre:
Natural or synthetic thread-like materials used for weaving, knitting, embroidery, and various other handmade creations.
Mixed Media:
Projects that blend different materials and techniques.
