It is really unfortunate for you, Brancy, as Sean was a really strong partner. =( Both of you made a really good couple! I was disappointed to see him leaving too... >< He doesn't deserve it.
Hope you'll do just as well with Firul!

What is up with the judges? They smoking pot or something ah? I seriously think they just main tikam who is gonna be in the bottom 4... ok this week is....*thows dice*... sean!!.. I mean the guest judge also get someone who actually knows something about dancing.. or at least appear to do his/her homework.. Sorry miss Tiara..she's really hot and all..but a lousy judge.. she doesn't say anything constructive and at some points didn't even know the contestants name.. the girl..the girl..what is her name.. Live on national TV you go and ask this kind of questions..malulah!
And davina did quite well for the flash dance..Pat Ibrahim said she overshadowed Firul but somehow she's in the bottom 4?
If I'm not mistaken both Azzy and Davina are not pro dancers and the rest are.. somehow I get the feeling they are in bottom 4 not really cuz of the dancing..but more towards that fact..
But in all fairness also.. the SMS voting can't lie.. i guess if ur in bottom 4 but u got enough friends u'll stay in lah.. and while I do think Davina's duet was good her Solo was kinda weird.. it's like beyonce in the Deja Vu video.. so ganas one! then she does the cart wheel yang tak jadi... I feel that she shouldn't even be in the bottom 4..same as Sean
And last but not least, Ramli i'm sorry man but your bad judge..good dancer but doesn't know what to say.. so in summary what I'm trying to say is CHANGE THE JUDGES!!! Pat Ibrahim, the white guy(dunno him namelah), and a guest judge that actually knows something about dancing.. please ah!

i'm so glad that somebody out there is in the same boat as mine. i thought the choices of bottom 4 last night was rather absurd. episode 5 really showed that Pat Ibrahim really knows what's happening on the dancefloor. last night however his comments were..ermm, how shall i put this? weird? heck, he didn't sound like himself! i didn't expect to hear such comments from a good judge like him. honestly i was dissapointed with Pat last night. he's one of the strongest judge in SYTYCD and every word came out from his mouth means a lot to the audience (in ruums & at home), and will eventually influence the votes later (if the dancers to be listed in bottom 4).
i hope the Pat Ibrahim that i know will come back next week.
as for the dancers..
first and foremost, i wanna give this shoutout to Brancy, my favorite and the strongest female contestant of this show (at least for me) - YOU REALLY ROCK GIRL! WAY TO GO!!! i feel sorry for Sean (and Brancy at the same time). i really don't think Sean deserved to be in bottom 4. what a shame to see him walk away from the competition so early.
i expected to see both Davina & Alice to be in bottom 4 this week based on their performance last night. Davina doesn't have proper training in dancing and it really showed in her jazz performance. i loved her energy and expressions but those are not enough to keep her in the competition as other female contestants are all very much stronger.
Alice's street jazz performance didn't show any improvement either as compared to last week. she couldn't seem to get that street jazz attitude and energy and ended up looking like doing something other than street jazz.
Alice outdanced Davina last night only because she displayed her ability to execute technics which might be difficult for a person like me to do it *ha ha* e.g. multiple ways of doing splits. other than that, nothing impressive nor original. Alice has to work harder next week to stay in the competition.
as for Davina. i honest don't know was she doing in her 30-second dancebattle last night. the sister proudly claimed that she did Krump, and she (the sister) taught Davina how to do it.
maybe her sister should learn how to Krump again. or learn how to teach the correct technics of doing Krump properly to her students.
honestly, which part of Davina's dance was Krump anyway? i'm clueless. i'm not a professional dancer, BUT i do know what Krumping is. what Davina did last night was not Krump at all. it's more or less like what eminem said, a ganas performance. very violent and pointless. however, i cannot help but to love Davina as a person. i think she's intelligent, down-to-earth, a bit fidgety at times but happy-go-lucky nonetheless. i hope she doesn't give up dancing totally. Davina, i heart you even when you don't dance that well. you go girl! keep on dancing
i was shocked when Juliana announced both Sean and Chris (my fave robotman) as the bottom 4. i picked Alam and Dennis actually. they may have the star quality, but they don't have the versatility of a good dancer. for me, technic plays an important role in dancing. technic koyak, tarian koyak lah. no matter how great you express your energy, if you got the techs wrong, you're not gonna look good doing it. it's a shame to see Sean go. Alam and Dennis have to improve and show something far better if they want to be in this competition long.
the one that i mightily impressed with last night was the sultry Orange. i still remember when i saw her in the 'Kenali Penari Kesayangan Anda' segment of SYTYCD on 8tv, i said to myself, 'why do they pick this girl to be in top 20?'.. and last night i finally know why..she's a fastlearner, this Orange girl. she has improved tremendously in 6-day gap (last week and this week). the way she carried her moves was superb, not too much not too little. she really blossomed from a pedestrian/ordinary performer last week to an expressive and strong dancer this week. i even watched the way she did the finale dance together with other fellow dancers at the end bit of the show. she looks so much better, and has improved A LOT compared to last week. i think, given the right choreography and an even more stronger partner (no offence Vish, but Orange does look physically STRONGER than you huhuhu), Orange can shine even more and i would say will be a strong competitor to Brancy.
i'm also impressed with Suhaili and Isaac. they've done a so much better job with hiphop this time around. it's just that i hope to see them do lyrical/contemporary or malay contemporary next time. they should have no problem doing those kind of dance. i think they'll do great
just my two cents worth

Hei there..Dennis here..Yup,true enough versatility plays an important role.Technic plays a Bigger role..For two weeks i've been doing Latin ballroom, something i've never done before..Haha..I never stepped into a studio before this competition to learn dancing..So it was a very new experience to me since im also a street dancer.. Nevertheless,i will still improve week by week.Technic wise,it's difficult to get the TRUE technic in 6 hours thou...But hei,it's the national dance competition..Ill do my best in there..Thanks mangojerry for your comment.ANd yes,we were all VERY SHOCKED that SEAN got in the bottom 4,and was voted out form the competition. He was someone i looked up to..Really good dancer.Wish he had stayed on..All The Best~~

Hi.. I must agree with what mungojerry said about "given the right choreography and an even more stronger partner they can shine even more.." In fact, in my opinion, i think this is what happened to Sean.. The dance itself.. The choreography of that dance does not help Sean at all.. It doesnt really shine out.. I do understand that a good dancer can actually dance well in all sort of dances but with taht choreography.. Not specialty.. No WOW WOW stunts.. It somehow will condemn a good dancer!!
As for Dennis, I personally think that he could have done better.. He has captured the correct and good expression of the Jive dance but ya, he lacks of the movement of his body.. If he gives more towards the body and movement.. I really believe he could have don much more better.. Infact, he did quite ok yesterday ... For me la.. hahaha...
I personally LOVE Jimmy & Nikki so so much! Jimmy is a good and strong dancer, cannot deny on that.. If I am not wrong, he has not learned about Malay contemporary (corect me if I am wrong..) but he danced so well yesterday that I hv to watch it again and again ONLINE.. haha.. As for Nikki.. She is just so cute.. And she performed very well in both weeks~ Eventho it's out of her comfort zone.. NOt what she is good at.. But she did very good.. =D
Okie.. Just my personal opinion here.. =D After all, I believe all of them had tried their very very best to perform well..

What's up ppl!
Support the Show as these very talented and amazing bunch of guys representing the Malaysian Dancers! I understand you guys only have 3 days 6 hours of Rehearsal time, but you guys are showing a great show night after night! Proud of you Top 20! Love you all, keep up the hard work! I know it's tough and not easy at all for most of you never even done ballroom,or contemp, salsa, street jazz etc, or even my style of Hip Hop that i'm trying to show and bring out,but this what the audience don't know, that you guys are very talented and worked so hard to perform something you never done, learn or even heard of before in such a short time!! Don't worry too much about elimination time,i know it's sad! damn,i can't change the rules man! but it's the nature of the Show/Competition. You all so great and talented,it's sooo hard to see you go 2ppl every week! there's no correct choice really to put who's who in the bottom 4,but that's the rules,2 must go, so some may not agree or vice versa , but hei keep ya head up Shake,Azzy,Davina and Sean. I'll miss you, come and support who supported you!
One Love! Peace.

Hey all... Thanks Yannus. You and Manuela were always there for us... you were more than our choreographers you were our mentors and friends. I can see that you guys genuinely care for us and I'm so psyched to be able to say I've been in your classes. I miss you both... not just the free dance classes... but the company of being around you and how cool you both were.
I've always seen myself as either an audience member or a journalist covering a show like SYTUCD,.. its surreal to remember myself on that big stage. One night on a live show as big as SYTUCD is still the kind of excitement not alotta people get to experience in their entire lifetime. I had some tough moments being a regular normal-ton entering dancerville...but I left on a good day... and all I am left with is gratitude for the experience.
To the rest of the dancers.... I can see how much you guys want it... and I am just full of love and admiration for all of you. Thanks for all the birthday wishes! I hope you guys will all be on your best behaviour... don't just be a good dancer... be a good person... and it will shine through. There are alotta people watching the show,.... and as someone who came from the inside view and now watching from the outside... I hope the person crowned the best dancer in Malaysia will be a role model in every way.
I want you guys to rock on!!!!! And I'll be there screaming at the top of my lungs after every performance! Miss you all..
I know this is page is about 'Who is Your Fav Dancer?'... but I just wanna say... Sue (the best friggin roommate), Isaac, Sean, Davina, Vish, Yunus, and Shake... you guys have become some of my favorite PEOPLE!
To Becky and Dennis... you guys friggin rock! I'll never forget when I Salsa-ed with you at bootcamp Den <-- you pick up so well. And Becky don't forget me okay... 10065 & 10069 =) to 'kak' Noor... you're beautiful and I can see how much this means to you... keep that fire burning.
Mmuuaah and good luck to you guys.
