Rapid KL Kelana Jaya LRT Resumes Operations (25/05/2021)
Rapid KL Kelana Jaya LRT line is back in operation as of 6.00 am this morning following the major incident involving two of their trains last night.
The train service will be utilising a single track along the effected areas, and will be supported by free shuttle buses, with a train frequency of 10 minutes during peak hours. 5 double decker buses have been assigned to transport passengers to and fro to all stations between Pasar Seni Station & Ampang Park Station, at a frequency of 15 to 20 minutes during peak hours.
Frequency of services will be reduced even further during non-peak hours in compliance with the current #MCO 3.0 SOPs alongwith the capacity reduction of 50%.

Trains services are expected to be back to normal in 3 days after clean up, repair and sanitation work are completed.
Prasarana, operator of the Rapid KL service, deeply regrets the unfortunate incident yesterday and will continue to monitor the progress of all those affected. They will also provide their fullest cooperation to the authorities regarding the incident.
