COVID-19 Status Update & Cluster Report (20/11/2020)
958 new #COVID19 cases were reported while 956 patients were announced as recovered today, leaving 13,221 cases still receiving treatment. 110 of these cases are in ICU with 42 of them on ventilators. 39,088 cases in total have already been discharged. Unfortunately, 3 more deaths were reported today, taking the total fatalities to 329. Rentak Sejuta extends our deepest condolences to the bereaved.
The total cumulative COVID-19 cases now stand at 52,638.
The number of new cases, in Sabah, drops a bit to 512 with 300 recoveries announced. 8 of these cases involved the new Kasir cluster in Tawau. Labuan had a better outlook with just 1 new case being reported and 16 recoveries announced. Sarawak remained low with just 2 new cases and 16 recoveries.
Selangor saw another 153 new cases being reported with 317 recoveries. A new cluster - Sri Jujur - with 17 new cases was also declared. Klang recorded the highest number of new cases in Selangor with 85, with a total 1,321 active cases still being treated. Kuala Lumpur saw 46 new cases with 104 recoveries, with Putrajaya recording 1 new case and 9 recoveries.
Negeri Sembilan saw 153 new cases with 130 recoveries. The worst-hit was Seremban with 142 new cases while Port Dickson reported 9 new cases, Johore reported 9 new cases and 10 recoveries while Melaka saw 2 new cases with 5 recoveries. 5 of the new cases reported in Pahang were from the new Makmur cluster. With conditions improving overall in both Johore and Melaka, the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) in Johore (except Kota Tinggi & Mersing) and Melaka will be lifted from tomorrow, 21st November 2020.
Kelantan reported another 7 new cases and just 2 recoveries today. With cases appearing in many districts throughout the state, the government has placed Kelantan under #CMCO for 14 days from tomorrow, 21st November until 6th December 2020.
Pahang has reported no new cases today but Terengganu reported 4 with 1 recovery. With conditions improving overall in both Terengganu and Pahang, the government has decided to lift the #CMCO in both these East Coast states effective tomorrow, 21st November 2020.
With conditions also vastly improving in Kedah despite reporting 19 new cases today, the #CMCO in the state has also been lifted from tomorrow, except for Kulim. Penang saw 25 new cases today with 23 recoveries with Perlis remaining at nought.
Perak reported 24 new cases with 11 recoveries. 8 of the new #COVID19 cases were from the new Enggor cluster.
