COVID-19 Status Update & Cluster Report (03/11/2020)
Another upward surge as the total number of positive #COVID19 cases reported today has risen to 1054, although 875 have recovered, leaving 10,135 active cases still being treated. 94 of these cases are currently in ICU with 22 of them on ventilators. Sadly 12 COVID-19 patients, all in Sabah, succumbed to their illness today, taking the fatality count to 263. Rentak Sejuta extends our deepest condolences to the bereaved. The total cumulative number of cases is now at 34,393.
2 new clusters were announced today - Cergas Cluster in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan and Permatang Cluster involving Kulim in Kedah and Seberang Perai Utara, Seberang Perai Tengah & Timur Laut in Penang.
678 new cases were reported in Sabah, 81 in Labuan and 21 in Sarawak, today.
Selangor saw 125 new cases, Kuala Lumpur 22 and Putrajaya 3.
Perlis continues to dodge the pandemic with zero cases reported, while Penang and Kedah find it difficult to shake it off by picking up another 35 and 12 new cases respectively. Perak reported 3.
Pahang and Kelantan are free of new cases today but Terengganu reports 1.
Unfortunately, Negeri Sembilan sees another surge with 71 new cases reported today, effectively sending Seremban and it's 9 sub-districts (Ampangan, Seremban, Bandar Seremban, Labu, Rantau, Rasah, Setul, Pantai and Lenggeng) into Conditional Movement Control Order (#CMCO) from 5th November 2020 for a period of 2 weeks.
Both Johore and Melaka reported 1 new case each.
