COVID-19 Status Update Malaysia (4.00 pm, 26/4/2020)ACTIVE COVID-19 CASES SLIP TO 1,820 AS MORE DISCHARGED Story: Dragon Visuals: Kementerian Kesihatan MalaysiaThirty-eight new COVID-18 cases were recorded, while 100 were discharged yesterday, further reducing the active cases to 1,820, with 36 patients remaining in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) while 15 are on respirators. Thankfully no new deaths were reported keeping the total fatalities at 98. Lembah Pantai in Kuala Lumpur at 280 and Kuching in Sarawak at 171, currently have the most number of active cases, while Perlis has no more active cases. Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO) locations Malayan Mansion and Plaza City One reported 5 and 1 new cases respectively, while Pusat Bandar Utara Kuala Lumpur saw 9 new cases being recorded. New cases currently are mostly arising from containment areas and also from imported cases from Malaysians returning from overseas. Of the 12,672 returning Malaysians travellers that have been tested at the quarantine centres, a total of 139 (1.1%) have been confirmed with the COVID-19 virus. 99 of those returned from visiting Indonesia, 14 returning from the United Kingdom, 13 returning from Singapura, 5 returning from Turkey, 3 returning from The Netherlands, 2 returning from USA, and 1 each returning from Thailand, France dan Bangladesh.
