COVID-19 Status Update Malaysia (4.00 pm 24/4/2020)CURVE SLOWLY FLATTENING AS TOTAL ACTIVE CASES CONTINUE TO DECLINE Story: Dragon Visuals: Kementerain Kesihatan Malaysia (KKM)The active #COVID19 cases are slowly starting to decline with 1932 active cases currently being treated in hospitals nationwide, of which 41 are in ICU and 18 on respirators. Yesterday saw 121 patients recovering and 71 new cases being registered, resulting in 64.36.% of the 5,691 cumulative cases already discharged. Unfortunately, 1 more death was recorded adding to the 1.69% of total deaths thus far. The 61-year-old man who was being treated at the Sg Buloh Hospital had been diagnosed with diabetes, hypertension and kidney problems. Our sincerest condolences to the bereaved. The highest number of cases recorded yesterday came from Enhance Movement Control Order (EMCO) hotspots of Selangor Mansion and Kampung Sungai Lui, with 39 and 15 cases respectively.
